All i am saying is I came from a generation where i could own one system( example: snes...or ps2...or xbox...or genesis) where when I went to gamestop and i looked at the huge wall of videogames for that system IT WAS FULL of tons of DIFFERENT types of games to play with a whole bunch of genres. when i go to Eb now, and look at the 360 wall, i see half the wall covered in shooters. from someone whos been playing videogames for over 500 million seconds it is honestly a disappointing wall to look at.

Here's a tip STOP LOOKING AT THE SHOOTERS. And there is also XBL Arcade which has a wide variety of games also. But here's the thing, You don't want to see this, you just want to complain.

which system is better? In my opinion the PS3 is better.

I have a 360, I do not have a PS3 although a few of my friends do.

I have alot of 360 games and they are great, but I feel like alot of the 360 games are more of the same, without alot of variety in them. This is not about which system is cheaper, this is not about which system has more built in features. I play wirelessly on Live with my 360, I dont care that I got the wireless network adapter. This is about which videogame system will give me the oppertunity to play more and better games. Right now the 360 has more games, but I think that the PS3 has better games.

The ps3 is looking foward to heavenly sword, mgs4, lair, drakes uncharted as some of their new games

In my opinion I get the sense that the PS3 is developing a wider variety of games to play, with more various things to do.

I am not calling mass effect, bioshock, halo 3 all shooters, but seriously speaking...you are a guy, holding a gun, and you shoot things, in all 3 of them.

I don't understand your argument. You said you are tired of shooters, yet all you buy are shooters. Then you said you wanted variety, and when people demonstrated other games you could buy that are not shooters, you said you already owned them, and that all of this variety people were showing you was proving your point, since you apparently already owned those games. Seeing as that logic doesn't make any sense at all, (I own many games = there is no variety on Xbox 360? WHAT?) I deem that your argument is flawed, at best.

My suggestion to you is this: Go out and buy a PS3 and see if the grass is greener over there. Seeing as you've already stated that the Xbox 360 has more games -- and I might add, the few games the PS3 does currently have tend to be on Xbox 360 as well (with a few exceptions) -- I doubt you're going to be much happier. But if you are, then good. But don't say Xbox 360 is a disappointment, when the fact is, it currently has more AAA titles and more varietyin its game library than any other system right now, especially PS3.

The Xbox 360 has a lot of games in its library right now and on the way that aren't shooters (for the record, Mass Effect isn't a shooter). People commonly generalize the Xbox 360 as being a "shooter console" when in reality it's more than that. If you can't see that, it's because you choose not to.

1. doing badly in Japan like Xbox
2. still only caters to the hardcore like Xbox

360 also created problems of its own but the Xbox didn't have them.

those 3 games suck but i don't know why are you disappointed with your x360 because the other games you got are great and the type of games you own just proves you don't like diversity (91% of your games are shooters) if you want something different buy forza or pgr3 or kameo or viva pinata.

nei , no , nones :D, 360 is not dissapointing right now i have almost 15 games and i can tell you by far not all of the are "guy with gun" like you put it , for an example : dead rising , marvel alliance , Forza , enchanted arms , splinter Cell : DA ( hey you have a gun but i try not to use it xD ) , and we are expecting thing like Blue dragon , Eternal Sonata , Mass Effect , Soul Calibur 4 , VF 5 , and a long etc , so... I am looking at my 27 xbox 360 games and all of these games i hav, I am some guy....with a gun, shooting things, I am getting sick of shooting thing. I want to use a sword! and make crazy combos in 3rd person! Below here is a list of a few of the games that i own that place me as a protagonist who holds a gun and shoots things...most likely in 1st person view

I feel that nomatter how good bioshock is, (AND IT WILL BE GOOD), to some degree, i have played it before, because im still going to go around shooting things- with different bells and whistles

I am just flat out TIRED of holding my targeting reticule over something, and pressing right trigger

This is why the xbox360 is a DISSAPPOINTMENT
