GAMES:The PS3 has the better exclusive library, I agree. But that doesn't mean the 360's exclusive library sucks. It has great exclusives too. It has Gears of War 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo Wars, Forza Motorsport 2, Forza Motorsport 3 and a ton of other exclusives that are widely regarded as brilliant games. Not only that, it is a known fact multiplats are always better on the 360 than the PS3. Except for maybe Final Fantasy XII and Dragon Age: Origins, all multiplatform titles are obviously better on the X360.
UPCOMING LINEUP: While the PS3 relies on exclusives to make its upcoming lineup strong, the Xbox 360 too will be getting a ton of good releases, contrary to what cows here think. Apart from multiplats like Crysis 2, Medal of Honor, Call of Duty: Black Ops and the like, it will also be getting exclusives like Forza 4, Halo: Reach, Gears of War 3, Mass Effect 3 and Fable III.
BETTER ONLINE COMMUNITY: Let's face it, people. Xbox LIVE >>>>> PSN. Many of you will say Xbox LIVE is not the better community because you have to pay for it, but it's worth it. The interface is smoother and more user-friendly, the support of third parties and and first party is very strong, XBLA exclusive games are spectacular, and games like Halo 3 simply cannot be played online on the PS3. The overall community of XBL is much better than PSN- one can never have as much fun playing on PSN as one would while using Xbox LIVE. Not only that, LIVE has great integration, and much, much, much better features than PSN.
ACHIEVEMNTS > TROHPIES:Trophies are half-baked afterthoughts. All PS3 games don't even have Trophies, while each and every Xbox 360 game ever released, and all that ever will be, HAVE to incorporate Achievements, and all of them do it quite brilliantly. Trophies are just not as interesting and fun as Achievements are. Achievements make us all wanna do stuff in game we wouldn't normally do. Trophies have never made me want to do anything like that.
BETTER THIRD PARTY SUPPORT: Developers like BioWare prefer developing their games on the 360 rather than the PS3, given the fact that the Xbox 360 is nothing but a PC, and PCs are very easy to develope games on. Not only that, as I mentioned above, multiplatform games are always better on the 360. Games like Fallout 3, Elder Scrolls IV, Bayonetta and a hell lot of other third party titles have recieved higher scores on GS AND Metacritic, and it is a generally accepted fact that... you know, multiplats are better on the 360.
Also, developers always develop their games on the 360, and then port them over to the PS3, for multiplatform releases. Which means, games are originally developed for the 360, not the PS3- just like multiplatform releases were originally developed on the PS2 last gen.
BETTER CONTROLLER: We all know it, this is the age of shooters, and the Xbox 360's controller is perfect for shooters. While playing FPS' on the 360, I don't fell the disconnect I usually do while playing shooters on the PS3. The 360 controller has better button mapping, and... it looks better (superficial, I know, but true). The PS3 controller is outdated. Dualshock 3 is same as Dualshock 3, which was the same as Dualshock. So what I am basically implying is that we have been using the same controller for three different platforms ever since the release of PSOne. That is just plain lazy on Sony's part. They need to think of something new. The Dualshock design is outdated, it has started showing it's age.
The 360 controller is also not as cramped as Dualshock 3 feels.
