what boggles the mind is.... who died and made him high standards judge?

no one other than yourself is judge of high and low standards as far as I'm conserned. I'm only here to ask what his reasoning is..
I hope he's typing now

[QUOTE="killerfist"][QUOTE="DragonFlyJ"][QUOTE="killerfist"]care to explain Dr. Phil?:)[QUOTE="DragonFlyJ"] Low standards because he's happy with the 360. st1ka
lol... Happiness is a feeling that people have when they are happy.
so to clear things up:
A happy PC gamer has high standards
A happy Ps3 owner has high standards
A happy Wii owner has high standards
A happy 360 owner has LOW STANDARDS?
....nope, I'm still a confused rabbit:(

cows are notorious for changing the rules of the system wars board to bend things in they're favor.
dragonfly has no creditability right now
Disagree, I used to own all the consoles and a Gaming PC and now I decided just to stick with my 360. It is the better of them all due to price, performance and game library for me.EXLINK
same here, although the TES construction set for oblivion will be missed greatly
What is this doing here? This is blog material.
Oh and I disagree. The XBOX360 is by far the best console this generation.
First off blog it, most of your opinion has no basis in fact or even theory for that matter.
2nd: in the area of oblivion.
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Official_Plug-insThe ps3 version doesn't even have access to most of the plugins or addons sept i believe shivering isles and knights of the nine. so why would any one wanna get the inferior ps3 version? which has a required install, doesn't look any better then the 360 version and all loading times and distance draw issues were fixed with the major patch released on the 360 version? thats right it took them over a year of dev time to just give ps3 oblivion a small load time advantage and draw distance and that was made moot with a simple patch.

Don't you still have to install a game on a pc to play it, or has technology advanced that much.?

yes you do, but this is a requirement of pc's since the begining and not only that you dont need the disc any more besides for verification.
Ps3 uses install to lower load times and its a requirement for this game on ps3 to be installed, Installition and large caches are required to offset blu rays bad loadspeeds whats the point of a console if i have to keep installing games? regardless year extra dev time, required install, none access to all the addons...ect make the ps3 version inferior.
Man, I don't even know where to start...
I guess we're going to have to agree to disagree, although I must add that you in no way have a 360 based on what you said, or you are severely gimped at using it at in any meaningful way. The Oblivion download complaint+Xbox Live bashing= You lying/being IMMENSELY ignorant.
I own a PS3 and and a Xbox 360.
I hate the Xbox because its such a failure as a gaming console. The actual console itself is 3 weeks old for me and I get disc read errors - alot of them, sometimes the console has to stop working and spin the disc as fast as it can just to load a message I got from the AI in a game saying that he wants me to give him 100 gold pieces. The controller is just a plain failure. Although its nice to have trigger buttons over R2 and L2 the RB and LB buttons feel like there not being pressed no matter how hard you try, the left analog stick has the worst positioning ever which forces your hands into uncomtforble position. The directional pad is so cheap that your not actually meant to press the button down in the position you want it to go, you actually have to push the whole pad back and forth and left and right if you want a decent response. The controller feels more like a heavy brick then a controller and youll notice itll make youre palms sweat really quickly.
Is the Xbox live ,Gears of war, Halo 3 and Forza motorsport 2 a good reason to get a doomed to die Xbox 360?. Not at all.
Ill start with how bad Xbox live is in comparison to PSN.
If I wanted to find Oblivion add ons on XBL I'd have to click on the games section which is time consumin since the Xbox is meant to be a gaming machine then search a alphabetical list of 600 Abreviations and half cut names meaning gme names wont be where there meant to be. I'd have to go down the list and problem is that XBL only displays about 5 names at a time on a 32 inch HDTV. Also XBL only loads about 30 names at a time so I'd have to stop every minute and wait five minutes for Microsoft to send me the game names. By the time I got to Oblivions section id have to look through a downwards list - which is stupid since most TVs are wider then they are tall to find what I want then convert Mcrosoft points to dollars to find the real price.
If I wanted to find Oblivion on PSN Id click on Add-ons(notice how I dont have to click on games first haha) then go through my options which would ll be shown as icons in Boxes in one huge box that takes advantage of screens being wider then they are tall.(clearly PSN was designed by a guy who was actually smart) Then I'd have to click on the Letter O in a box, big and clear. Then instead of the simple inconveniant list of names in one of those small boxes it shows the games Box art(this is much much better) and if I highlight the box art it shows the games name in the top left. Then I'd see the add ons (more like add on since PSN is still lacking stuff but I'd rather scroll through a small list of stuff then scroll through XBLs big list of junk) and I'd see its price in dollars which is much much more conveniant.
Gears of war is quite a dissapointment since its really boring and typical with the "Everyone else in the prison was tortured to death and hanged with chains with the exception of you" at the start. Halo 3 just feels the same as Halo 2 and Forza Motorsport 2 is lacking Events and cars in comparison to Gran Turismo 4.
Chances are ill get crucified. division_9
Lol, is this a joke?
Isn't there a tab in the Oblivion main menu that brings you to the add-on download screen?
And is there even add-ons for Oblivion on PSN?
I disagree the 360 is good consolekyacat
You're doing it wrong. It's "I agree, the 360 is a great console".
Man that thread was epic.
I would rather wait for the TC's opinion of the XBOX 360 once he actually owns one.Gaming_Guru_Guy
You stole the words out of my mouth. The TC really shows alot of ignorance from the console, the search, the controller and the gears of war complains are so ridiculous that it completely tells me that he has never owned a 360.
I agree TC, and those are a few reasons why i sold my 360 about 6months ago. No regrets.
Still have a scratched copy of Gears 1 if someone wants it. Works until you meet alpha (forget about online)
-Reggaeton-
It's called carwax buddy,
Your scratches will be gone, fixed a huge circular scratched halo 2.

...What? :?
The only console that is horrible is the PS3. Atleast the 360 has not lost any big name exclusives like sony did with losing FF XIII
