The Xbox Brand hasn't had an exclusive rates over 90 on metacritic since 2011

Gears of War 3 was the last Xbox Exclusive to hit the Triple A mark on metacritic, sad! Meanwhile Playstation/Nintendo and PC have each had several in that 5 year span. It seems Microsoft doesn't make masterpieces like Sony does.

Eh, whereas I've regularly been more impressed with Sony's offerings, both due to quantity and quality, none of them have come close to Halo 5 in multiplayer for me, so that's a bummer.

That's not good for Xbox fans. Hopefully M$ can end the 5 year drought of no good exclusives soon.

Well nintendo is pumping out great exclusives like mario kart 8 and sony just put out uncharted 4 both praised very highly by critics and fans.

It's kinda like the movie business you needs hits in this business to thrive.

It's bad if you don't have well received high quality movies same thing for games its just bad.

Hey I will enjoy my Forza games, Sunset Overdrive etc, etc and don't care what they are rated, because lets face it only fanbabys use sites like Metacritic to judge a games worth.

Why do cows play Metacritic all day instead of playing proper games???

Oh and I hate the Gears of War games, so the fact they are rated over 90 means shit to me, and i'm sure the scores mean shit to real gamers also, maybe you should try being a real gamer one day.

I doubt MS will give me a reason to ever own an X1. Those studios can't drop a killer app for shit. Glad I bypassed on that console.

Doesn't bother me, plenty of games to play i never really buy exclusives that much anyway because they make up such a small percentage of games and i haven't bought a console for it's exclusives since the Gamecube, Last gen it was 360 because it had the most WRPG's and PC games and this gen it was the Xbone because it was the cheapest.

Saying that, there are Exclusives worth playing on both consoles regardless of there metacritic rating.

It's about what floats your boat as an individual at the end of the day.

I think the biggest irony is Nintendo though, most high rated Exclusives last gen and the gen before, if they had the same level of third party support as MS and SONY they would be completely killing the competition.

Does Nintendo (along with the vast amount of developers on PC) not make masterpieces? Furthermore, is the qualifier of a masterpiece an arbitrary numerical value (conglomerate) placed on the game by other people's opinions?

This is weak Delta and you know it,even more so saying you chose it now because it is cheaper,the price difference between the xbox one and PS4 is relatively small hell both here last holiday were at $299,and on the beginning the xbox one was $100 more.
