[QUOTE="Episode_Eve"]I never said RE5 suggests this tension. I was only stating why there were no complaints about the European Spanish in RE4.
You can't call these people who got offended racicst.
1.) They are ignorant yes.
2.) They aren't gamers.
3.) They don't know the premise of RE5.
4.) They acted solely on knowing the footage of a white man shooing black people.
5.) They felt this way because of the racial tension and negative history between blacks and whites.nintendo-4life
What i meant was RE5 was never about black vs. and will never be. Anyone who got offended by this only means they have the subject 24/7 on their heads and nit pick about every small detail, hence why I think they are racist.
Of course it was never about this black vs. white in Capcom's eyes. You have to take all sides into consideration (capcom's and black/white). The black people who were offended by the original RE5 trailer are not racist, and neither is Capcom. Now if they were gamers and knew the premise of the game this would be another story.
They are ignorant to the entire situation, mislead by the orginal trailer and quickly judged Capcom and RE5 and based it all on race. This does not make them racist though.
Just like the guy in this thread who said: "black people always think the world is against them." I don't think he's racist, just ignorant to the situation.
If you still believe they are racist then that's you, I'm not sure what to say.
