If one game pushes you into buying the system, it's a system seller.  Sure there's other games on the system, but you don't really want them.  You just name them to justify spending so much money to play one game.  For example, I bought the PS1 to play FF7.  I ended up buying other games in the long run, but if FF7 wasn't released, I'm not sure I would have ever purchased it.

I know many that buy new console just for 1 game, all other games just a bonus. I will buy Ps3 mainly because of MGS4, blue ray player just a bonus :)

I'm saying when people buy a console it's usually because of at least one game that looks intresting to them. That doesn't mean when they finish the game they'll never play the console again.

My reasons for getting a Wii were due to a very reasonable price, some fun interesting games and the games to come in the very near future. So I'm not one to usually buy a system because of just one or two games but I can see why many other gamers do.

Also keep in mind that it might not always be the game itself but the hype a system gets based on one game. Halo would be the best example. For the Xbox, that game made so much hype, it helped sell the system for those who may not have even got the game. The Wii could be a good example with Wii Sports. A lot of people like or love the game but some may not. Although the hype of that game help gets a lot of publicity for the system. So there may be people who haven't any serious interest but due to always hearing about it and it's unique control style could interest people.

Amidst everything else a console may come with, if a certain game influenced you to lean over to the purchase of a console, than in that respect, that game was a system seller.
