There is no winner of E3 2012 between the Big 3

...or should we start calling them the Casual 3?

This entire conference was a gigantic flop and a waste of all of our time. Ubisoft was the only company to put on a good conference. Sony/Ms/Nintendo no longer care about core gaming and are just chasing around the masses with silly gimmicks and casual trash.

I suggest all seek refuge on the PC

Yeah, I'm definitely considering a PC next gen... however the lack of certain titles makes it unlikely I'll be able to completely ditch consoles.

But agreed, the big 3 sucked this year.

huge gimmick? it took like 10min maximum of the conference (maybe more but because it was having some technical difficulties). Does that alone nullfies TLOU, GOW:A, Beyond, ACIII, Playstation All-Stars (inb4butthurt fanboys calling it a SSB ripoff. I dont give a sh1t, it looks fun)? Unless you're a stupid fanboy no one could complain on sony for imposing gimmicks

The Last of Us, Beyond, and Watch Dogs were the only intriguing titles. Luckily I have a PS3 already, and Watch Dogs should be playable on PC and PS3.

Everything else was terrible. It's hard to choose between which was more terrible, Microsoft or Nintendo...but I think I have to give it to Nintendo. Can't believe they laid that abortion on stage when they have a new console coming out in 2012.

Oh well, at least I have a gaming PC so I can enjoy some real games.

The demo to TLOU looks too identical to Uncharted. Based off of that demo I wish ND would have taken a different direction

God of War looks almost exactly the same asGoW3 and them adding MP has me worried.

Beyond looks cool but if its like Heavy Rain than it isn't really a game

PS All Stars is okay but I don't doubt it will be better than SSBB. If Sony wanted to copy SSB they should have just done a straight carbon copy. All the differences from SSB that All Stars has are the things I don't like (No ring outs, no damage percentages, etc)

And like you said, Sony spent a long time going over a dumb book that nobody was really interested in

If i was choosing due to exclusives then I am gonna say sony blew me away with last of us that looks like a legit survival horror game i think what people expected with resident evil series. and beyond looks innovative and really what matters more? cause when it comes down to it we buy each console for the exclusivesinsanewolfninja

I thought E3 was pretty good overall, I don't see what people are b!tching about. It goes like this for me.

Nintendo = B+

Sony = B+

MS = C

Overall it was good for everyone. Plenty of great games to see.
