There should be a new rule in SW...

If a topic is made just for attention (i.e. Forza looks worse than GT PSP) it should be locked. The only reason people make these topics is to start arguments that are pointless. For me this detracts from the atmosphere of having intelligent topics that aren't made to get 200+ posts on it. It's pretty annoying to see a great topic get ignore because someone made a topic about something made to start a riot. -_-

You report, let them decide. Only in the weekends I have noticed the process is way slower.

GS made SW as a place for people to go and make silly topics to start an arguement. When you have as many completely biased, blind to truth fanboys as we have on the SW board, the "atmosphere of having intelligent topics that aren't made to get 200+ posts on it" doesn't really exist. The best you can do is skip over the flambait topics, and ignore the most obvious fanboys and trolls for any particular system.

I like your thinking, but I don't believe that would improve the board. If anything, people dying to let their fanboy colors show would simply start derailing the more legitimate threads.... you know, more than they already do :D Better to learn to live with the SW we have. It's not perfect, sure... but it can be pretty entertaining.
