PS3 adverts are some of the worst I have seen in decades. God, their always just trying to be smart but are failing miserably in it. Like in The German MTV adverts, talk about weird.

I saw it in the cinema and I only new it was talking about the PS3 when it said this is living. I don't know whats the point of this commercial.

This is my interpretation. The two people with the money is microsoft. They think there making out buts its going to blow up in there face The old man from the game show is nintendo. Trying to relive the old days The people on the edge is the hardcore gamers that cannot make up there minds between the two sides of 360 and ps3

People on this forum have obviously never taken any form of an economics or sociology class.

It's a good ad. Look at the State Farm ad, "[What Happen's Next?]" That had has been VERY succesful and no where on the TV commercial does it say State Farm.

And to the topic creator who said there's a subliminal message is either lying or does not know what a subliminal message is.

But what Sony is doing wrong though is that the site that they are advertising, "thisisliving.tv" hasn't been updated since it launched, so all there is to tell you about the PS3 is if you watch the commercial again on the website, it says "a PLAYSTATION 3 production."

Sure the website is getting the date out there, but is that worth the high production costs of the commercial?

I remember the cgi and ingame footage farce during the PS1 days. Many, and i mean many, thought the PS1 was more powerful than the N64.
