I'm very perplexed to why consoles are very popular. I own a few myself, but I have a good enough computer to handle most games. I think all that really matters is do you want the customization and power that come with pc's then go for it. However sometimes you just want to sit on your couch with a screen larger than 30 inches and play a goddamn game while yelling out 14 year old kids...
And for those that say you can set it up so you can use your tv with your computer, well thats true, but do I really want to lug my computer to my tv room and hook it in just to play a game? When I have work to do I'm most certainly not going to be doing it on the couch with a kb/m.
I suppose its customization vs ease of use for the average consumer.
your facts are wrong but I kindda agree with you, (in my opinion), consoles are more superior than pc gaming, in my opinion anyway. First thing is that I have a very crappy pc, and I don't intend to spend lots upgrade it because of money and I do not know how to upgrade a computer. Second thing is that sometimes I play game more than a few hours sitting on a chair one hand on the keyboard and the other on the mouse is just not pleasant, of course I could buy gamepads, but gamepads aren't free. Third thing is that I use my computers for a lot more other stuffs. Fourth thing is that my monitor is 15 inches while my hdtv is 46 inches, I know I can connect my computer to my hdtv but again, it cost money.
bonthan
So you mean, consoles are superior to YOUR PC. lol
[QUOTE="thepwninator"]STALKER and The Witcher were full games. Both were indie games. lowe0
GSC's an established developer with years of work behind them, and their major titles are still shopped out to partner publishers. Yeah, they're technically independent in that they aren't owned by a publisher, but they're not "indie" in the same sense as a self-publishing developer like Introversion. That's like saying Valve or Bungie are "indie". In PCgaming there is a clear distinction between "indie" and "independent" which goes a bit against english language, but it's a common thing in gaming :)
