These male characters look the same!

These are the namesof the characters starting with the first one: Nathan Drake (Uncharted), Unknown (Far Cry 2), Chris Redfield (Resident Evil 5), Jason Bourne (The Bourne Conspiracy)

I'm sure there is more but I can't remember.......

I wouldn't be surprised if they all used some sort of generic template.

They look similar , but that seems true to life. I could probably find 3 or 4 similar looking guys walking around in the mall all the time - maybe not a guy with massive pythons ...... but you get the idea. Someone just told me last night thatI looked similar to Drake for instance (no joke). And I said an uglier version of Drake perhaps.

Well in their defence, most of them are in the military/ex-military. If you want unique characters, MGS has them. They're so awesome that they don't need to shave their head in the military.

But it is Jason Bourne, which was the point I was trying to make. Also it was essentially suppost to look similar to matt but they had a creative fallout and couldn't use his exact likeness.Vaasman

That is the only way companies can sell their games because so many people are insecure if developers design something unique.

i dont see why mass effect is on that list thing, since the main character could look like whatever you wanted, or even be a woman. same with far cry; you had all kinds of emplates you could have selected (i was the indian guy). also, is he saying the heavy weapons guy actually looks anything like those other characters? really...? for realzies?

That's interesting. I guess it's kinda like the same actor playing different roles eh?
