There is nothing in Mass Effect about taking over the universe. Anyone that actually played the game would know that.

And while I am all for good imaginative stories, physically chaining the moon is a bit silly, even for JRPGs.

There is nothing in Mass Effect about taking over the universe. Anyone that actually played the game would know that.

I like the way Star Ocean 4 looks though maybe because its published by Square and Square likes Quality titles and doesnt rush things.

I dont see nothing wrong with this game. Its a different art style compared to the realistic look of SO4. I dont see why people think every game should look realistic. I think the art style looks good in this game.

As for SE, well... although they did release a ton of crap during the PS2 era, their flagship titles were really flagship titles. Kingdom Hearts became a welcome new franchise, FFX was incredible, and FFXII, while extremely different from other main FF titles, is still an excellent game.

And how can we forget Dragon Quest XIII?

You are saying that becuase you are a PS3 fanboy. I read your profile, all PS3. Final Fantasy Versus is not a RPG. It's some kind of hybrid game. And Star Ocean looks amazing, if it was on PS3 instead of 360 you would be agreeing. 360 has alot of great RPG's that PS3 doesnt. Square chose 360 as there system of choice.

Your point is? I never said they didn't. But the fact is, it doesn't match it. I didn't badmouth the game, I'm actually looking forward to it... Or was, at least. A 4 minute gameplay demo kind of spoiled it for me, with it looking rather generic, kind of like a Final Fantasy/dark Cloud cross.

Of course, it's an early part of the game, so I'm waiting for a full release to decide whether it'd be worth getting a 360 after all.

All games are meant to be viewed in motion. We aren't playing a slide show so how something looks in stills doesn't matter compared to how it looks in actually play. Even if you are standing still in a game the game's environments are still going to be moving. Taking a single frame out of something that is suppose to run 60fps or 30fps, etc and then claiming how bad something looks doesn't make any kind of sense to me.

Personally I can't wait for this game and all footage and video previews look great, especailly the town/city areas and combat.
