Thirteen Games To Look Forward To In 2011

Just thought I'd give you guys a heads up, Gamingbolt.com has posted a list of thirteen games to buy in 2011. Personally, I think the list is pretty darned good, and it seems to be actually representing all platforms equally.

What do you guys think about the list?

Not bad.. I'd probably takeStar Wars: The Old Republic off the list though and put on Deus EX!

If this somehow doesn't end up being a great year for gaming, then the industry is doomed. We've got everything... PS3's most extensive exclusive list ever, Kinect (trying) to prove its worth, PC's usual big hitters, Wii's most anticipated title, and a brand new - possibly two brand new - handheld launches.

i dont see how 2010 was bad ,man we had like over 5 wii exclusives 2 franchise/classic reboots

1-goldeneye this was the game everyone cried abo ut they wanted it remade now they got it

2 they wanted more eh , they wanted donkeykong country to return to its roots they got that to

3 they asked weres kirby its been so long they got it in the form of kirbys epic yarn and kirby superstar ultra ds

4 they also wanted a good sonic i think theyve got 2 of them ,sonic 4 episode 1 and sonic colors

5 they wanted another super metroid ,, they got that to in the form of metroid other m i dont know what more oh ya theyve waited so long for

6 gran turismo 5 god of war 3 on top of this they now got what they once caLLED A FAD---- MOTION GAMING AND 3D

next year nintendo eats thier cake ----- when they launch the nintendo 3ds - - - with games like zelda oot sf3d mgs3d re 2 of them , ,driver renegade saints row drive by ,, asphalt 3d sims 3ds etc next year will have somthing big in store

and im calling it first----nintendo 6 ! at e3 2011

2011 is looking great. Zelda and Human Revolution are at the absolute top of my very high must-buy list.

Take off The Old Republic, that game is bound to fail.

Otherwise, its a good list.

Replace TOR with TLG and it'll be all set.

I know that Uncharted 3 and Mass Effect 3 will both be great

But I'm more interested in the structural reboots Nintendo is giving Zelda and Pokémon

Lucky for me I wasnt hyped for GT5 at all so there was no wait. It came out, I played it at friends, got hooked and went right out to buy it.

My god, what if TLG mega flops like GT5? :o I wouldnt personally care, but I'm sure the hype will be AAA. Imagine if it got a 6.5 :lol:

It's been over a decade since the first Pokemon game came out. Someone please explain to me how this franchise has changed in this time? New mechanics? Adding another chapter to an epic storyline? Updated visuals? Anything?

It is the Madden of Nintendo titles. All you get is the same game with a roster update.

So how will this "reboot" be different? Do you still catch Pokemon, travel to different gyms and fight Team Rocket? What's the difference? Seriously, sell me on this "reboot" thing. How will Pokemon Black be different from every other Pokemon game that has come out in the last decade?GoreyFeldman
