Yes, that is why it took close to a decade before the franchise was finally revived with Legends. The series sucked noodles after the first game which was good for it's time (although the remake is not anywhere near the same in terms of layout and design) and it took a whole new development team to fix the mess that Core had left that pathetic franchise in. It will never be as good as it once was though because most people will realise upon play a Tomb Raider game that it plays the same as the others.

Planescape: Torment isn't for everyone. IE stupid people.
