Road Rash with online mode. Make it so you can customize stuff, just like Chromehounds. Make some courses like in the classic games and then make open arenas to battle it out.

Would be a hit and I think Criterion should make it.

Man, so many great games that need remakes or sequels (Good sequels, Chrono Cross doesn't count) Chrono Trigger Xenogears Nights Ogre Battle Dragon Force Landstalker Any Mutant League Sports Game Burger Time (That's right, Burger Time in full 3D with super salt cannon extra) Actraiser Earthbound (I'd like the 3rd game on something besides the DS) Secret of Evermore Illusion of Gaia Super Mario RPG E.V.O (If you know what this is then you'd agree) And the last but definately not least. Shining Force II (All after 3 and CD are garbage and don't deserve the Shining Force name)

FFT, the best T-RPG out there, it competes even against the "next-gen" T-RPG games. Hmmm dunno about a remade though, maybe a graphical update, but even if its pretty old FFT has awesome art style. I would like to stay 2D isometric view, on a 3D platform and yeah with an addition to walk in cities. Anyways Masterpiece.

they have act raiser 2, dragon force 2, earthbound has a sequel for ds, illusion of gaia wasnt all that. super mario rpg sequel are the paper mario supposely and mario and luigi back in time. ogre battle had many sequels xenogears got xenosaga choro trigger has chrono cross and it does count.. unless you want a part 3? nights, illusion of gaia and secrect of evermore are the only one that doesnt have a sequel.

Please guys, no Square-Enix remakes should be made unless its a game that never was with held from a region. Examples would be.

Terranigma
Bahamut Dragoon
Seiken Densetsu 3
Rudra's Treasure
Treasure Hunter G

I don't want to have remakes of games I've already played. Just go and find the original game its not that hard.

I probably wasn't clear enough, so: Mistwalker does not own the rights to the Chrono series. I wouldn't mind if they did. If Sakaguchi-san could enlist the help of Horii and Mitsuda for a sequel to the series, I'd have no complaints. If such a sequel showed up on either 360 or PS3, I would buy the console (I already have a Wii).

The Paper Marios are the spiritual successors of Super Mario RPG but different enough that I want another Super Mario RPG. I'd like the 3rd Mother (Read what I wrote) not on the DS. And Chrono Cross let me down, I guess because it wasn't nearly as good as Trigger. Then we have Xenosaga series which is technically a prequel but couldn't have any true connections because of copyrights. Not to mention the battle System and story were much worse in my opinion. But these are just my opinions.

Mistwalkers currently in decisions with SE for the Rights. As for the rest of you people chrono trigger did have a sequel it was called chrono cross, you want a thrid game. The chrono series is like final fantasy they don't make direct sequels its more just making new worlds with the same concept, but i would love a remake of chrono trigger myself the game has a hugh fanbase.

so if you dont like the sequels then dont ask for them ... if they release ff7 remake or sequel i know i will buy it but i dont want them to remake it because i want that experience to stay original in my mind. if you want to experience it again go and get the old cartridge or download it and play it. i though chrono cross was as good as chrono trigger.. act raiser 2 is my favorite act raiser.. i think i still have that game around here. Dragon Force 2 was the same thing from the 1min i played it. i love all does games you posted btw :D. Dragon Force, FF7, Chrono Trigger, Breaht of fire 2, mario rpg, nights, ninja gaiden are on the TOP TOP TOP of my favorite list.

The game designer for that game currently is working on multiple projects (just finished FF12, is working in FF3 remake for ds and is making a new mmorpg for X360 and Vista an possibly PS3) within SE, so not at the moment.

Wow, what's your problem? This is a thread about remakes, if you don't want them don't post. Those are the ones I want. And I want good sequels unlike the ones I think didn't live up to my standards.

A remake of FFIX for the Wii. I don't know why but I think FFIX's its a good fit for the Wii.
