Lemmings won't touch this. Just like most didn't play Kameo, Viva Pinata, and other games they deem "kiddy". If it ain't a FPS or a racer, the lemmings steer clear.

Should've been an Arcade release. $40 for this game is borderline criminal. Was $30 on the PS2. People would do well to steer clear of it. Personally I don't see the appeal of it either. The eccentric styl is nice, but that's pretty much it.

Gamespot seems to agree, their review is pretty darn negative. Surprised he scored it as high as he did. It's ugly, the gameplay hasn't changed since the PS2 game, nor has the problematic camera and it's ridiculously short, but hey, it has a silly styl. 7.5.

No it wont, the same way LBP would FLOP on 360.

I could only hope that some 360 gamers remember the other two games. Me? I will most definitely pick it up, though.

And I agree, Little Big Planet may do quite better on the PS3 than it would on the 360.

First, people just said 360 needs diversity, then when he gives u games, u say their not good, so how does that make u any better than the people dont buy them, did u play all those games? NO, so u just assume they arent good, which is what "lemmings" are doing, your part of the problem that YOU have a problem with...Kameo, BD, ES, Oblivion, Comm and Conquer 3, Ace Combat 6, Guitar hero are all good, and i havent played the others yet...so ill reserve judgment.

2nd, name me a game u consider good on the PS3 thats not racing, FPS, or sports?

ive played kameo and viva pinata and i loved both of them especially viva pinata was a great game so dont compare beautiful katamari to it.

if u played one katamari game u played them all its just the same garbage. yea sure it was fun and quirky the first time on my ps2 but now its just boring. hell even the review said its like basically the same thing with small graphics update

and i love how ppl keep saying 360 has no good variety in games yet the ps3 has like no good games period. every month is the same excuses with cows when npd comes out they say ps3 isnt selling that bad cause no good software came out and they critizise 360 saying it should of sold better cause good games came out. if it has such great games why dont u buy it, ffs i dont know why ppl have brand loyalty just look at the games and buy whichever console plays them

Amen to that. Except the Kameo part, didn't like it.

The demo is only like three minutes or something, but that was enough for me to get bored of the extremely simple concept. It basically feels like part of a minigame collection, only there's only one minigame in the full version.

I doubt anyone will buy it when you can essentially get the same experience for a lot cheaper on one of the PS2 Katamari games, according to the reviews I've read.

I do find it a bit disappointing that games like Viva Pinata, Eternal Sonata and Kameo aren't as well received on the 360, but as long as they stil come out, and I still get them, I can't really complain.

Really. I don't know what about this "Rolling" concept intrigued people last gen. I found the demo colorful and amusing (not a bad thing) but when you get past the King's weirdness, the actual gameplay has no depth to keep me interested.dlind70

Indeed. People just automatically assume that because a game is different and quirky it's underrated and awesome and everyone should buy it for the good of the industry. No. The game sucks. And it's overpriced.
