what exclusives has the PS3 stolen away from the 360? Anything the likes of DMC4, Tekken, GTA, FF13? I mean lets be real treal =)

It looks like you fail to comprehend my initial post. And you say 360 is stealing exclusives away? Going into this generation companies changed their business models to put most if not all games on both systems because of the expenses. The PS2 was so far ahead in sales and users that they could sustain a game budget on a PS2 release alone. Not so much this gen.

EDIT: It's not a matter of 360 being superior or stealing exclusives because companies dislike Sony. Corporations follow the money.

Please stop telling me to be "real". I am being unbiased and fair to both consoles unlike you.

The PS3 has not "STOLEN" or "TAKEN" any eclusive 3rd party games from the 360. The point is that Sony doesn't need to buy 3rd party timed exlusives. It's not their business model this gen. They are investing into their 1st party and it's showing in the number of exlcusives.

I think that the exclusives warrant a purchase of both systems. And blu-ray is an added incentive for PS3.

Fighter king maybe, but not really something to get excited about. You'll practically get the same experience on both.

RPG king probably for now... but we haven't really seen a standout 360 exclusive yet. Again, nothing to get excited about.

FPS king well... what is it? Halo 3? R2 is right around the corner, and so is Killzone 2.

Online is debatable, well, because it costs money on 360. PS3's free service isn't that far off.

In terms of WRPGs, it's got a handful of mediocre, multiplatform games (that have better ports on the PC). It's definitely not the WRPG king.

As for JRPGs, I don't know enough about them to comment...but it seems that there aren't any big ones out yet on any current gen platform.

You're right, I should have stated 'drastic consequences' instead of no consequnces at all. Anyways, as a veteran of every single MGS game out there (well...nearly), those consequences didn't seem nearly as dire as in prior installments. I wouldn't say stealth being put in the back seat is all that exaggerated either. I mean, cripes, they included an (optional) FPS-mode for goodness sakes.

i agree with verge here. mgs4 has an optional fps mode where you could play the entire game in fps.....thats telling me the stealth wouldnt affect it one bit.

previous games you could not go in guns blazing and expect to come out alive especially in the parts with many guards patrolling areas. mgs3 is a good example.
