I have no problem with DLC, its sort of a necessary thing for developers to have some way to make up for losses with how expensive game development has become. I DO have a problem with DLC that you are forced to buy, or content that bars you from certain game modes or parts of the game if you don't have it. For example in Halo 3, if you don't have the newest map packs, you can't play Team Slayer. After beating the game twice, Team Slayer was what kept me playing- it was all I played. Now that has been taken away from me because I don't have the new maps. That, my friends, is wrong and is an abuse of the whole consumer system of DLC. DLC is a good thing, and for people who can afford it or think a certain piece of DLC is worth the money I have no problem with it. But you can't start taking away retail aspects of the game if someone isn't willing to buy the DLC. That's wrong.

There has been some really crappy DLC this generation, but l don't think you should be blaming the map packs, which are a decent value. There is much worse. But then there is the really great DLC like the Grand Theft Auto lV DLC and Fallout 3 DLC.

Two map packs at launch? They ANNOUNCED that? Hahahahaha. Yeah right, shame on anybody who buys those mappacks. I hope they're playing with ten people between all of them, the suckers.

When I had my PS3, I never purchased any DLC and when I get my PS3, I will continue to not buy any DLC. I will buy a few games off PSN, but not DLC. I refuse to buy what I can get free on the PC. That is why I do not support the PS3 when it comes to multiplats. I buy them on PC unless my kids also want to play it, but I am thinking of just letting them play my PC so I don't have to buy any multiplats on the PS3.

I blame Microsoft. If MS hadn't come along with the whole "xbox live" concept I really doubt things would be this bad. They basicly made it easy for dev's to charge for DLC, I honest to god don't think this gen would have been so bad DLC wise if it was just Sony and Nintendo.

Agreed man, **** agree. You know what pisses me off the most. The **** sackboys, every week. Sackboys, sackboys and more sackboys. 1.50 a sackboy?! Are you kidding me? Theres like a thousand more meaningful things they could add to the PSN but no they choose to milk us, milk us dry. It's so desparate and so pathetic. God, a game mode for RE5? Screw you capcom. Screw you.

Dont forget nickle and diming ppl with "sequels" that are basically over glorified expansions and charging full price for them. Like Guitar hero, Call of duty and L4D2
