lol this man has the TRUTH. to be honest i would prefer to game only on PC or even on the ps3, but all my friends got the xbox, so guess what, the only system i game on is xbox.

o believe me i tried, i owned 4 ps3's (over the years) and sold them all. just because i love being able to play with my friends. i don't care how good your resolution or your frames per second. when your by yourself its just kind of.... boring. i used to be a diablo 2 FANATIC. but then my friends hopped on xbl with halo and gears, and well diablo 2 was boring and i just kept hearing all these crazy stories of playing online and talking to people.

really, it comes down to what your friends play. believe me i won't make the same mistake next gen of wasting a good thousand on re-buying and re-selling the same consoles i think i want but don't really.

Thing is, this is System Wars where we moan at eachother every day. It just does'nt work to serve the chill pill when you run out of arguments, then you just need to attend another forum.

All the videos I've watched of his have been great. Especially when he was debating those 3 uninformed losers "3killabytes" or whatever. I actually felt sorry for them. The ownage was too much to bare.

You're right about one thing. He states in his later videos that a good pc can be bought for 300-400 bucks, though most of the time we spend around 600 to 800 for a good rig. Still, the costs are made up for with good deals on pc titles. A lot of us don't pay the full $50 for a game. We have Steam, D2D, and other services that offer games at WAY lower prices, and they hit record lows during the holiday season.

I'm going to say that if you are not hardware crazy, you can hold on to your hardware for 3 to 5 years (and then upgrade) and still save more money than a console player. While the average console player may buy 4 or 5 $60 games a year, the pc gamer can be spending $10-$40 per year and upgrading every five years.

Fanboys are pretty scary.

I'm both a console and PC gamer. I haven't paid $50-60 for a console or PC game in years. Just because you don't know how to get console games cheaper doesn't meant it can't be done.

I just like the clarify that I hardly ever play full price for console games. I got Alan Wake for $10 through deals.woot, and even then there's rental agencies and used games sellers that take the edge off console game as well.

Basically, if you want to save money, you can do it on both PC and consoles. I think the most I've paid for game recently is Minecraft at $20, and the aforementioned Alan Wake at $10

Ive recently gotten into steam..bought UBIsoft bundle for 20$"4 games"..and bought L4D...That is all I will probably buy from them. I dont like NOT having my games and being able to share or put on the 3 pcs we have in our home..SURE it cuts out some $$$ on the developers end..but still its a nice perk to owning a physical copy. Just not into this whole dd thing. Prob will end up getting out of gaming if it all really goes that way..oh well, more time to work,make money, and do activities outdoors..:)

I thought this guy was a PS3 fanboy based on some videos I saw a while back, but he is right on in this video. PC gaming is so great in so many ways.
