I know the majority of gamers are console users, but I have yet to personally meet a person who knows anything about PC gaming.

If anything, it's making me more anxious. Everytime I hear a radio announcement for it, or see a bilboard advertising it, I can't help but anticiapte the midnight launch party at Hasting's even more.
Halo 3 is the second coming for us 360 owners, Halo haters just need to step back for a few weeks and let us have our fun. There's no way of stoping it, its like Gandalf riding down the hill in The Two Towers with an army behind him (this is Halo 3), they all then smash and completly over power the orcs easily(Halo haters). There is no way to stand in its way, Halo 3 will be the best game of all time, it is invetiable and useless to bash it.

I've personally never seen a Halo 3 ad outside of the normal non-intrusive ones here at Gamespot and various other websites, or in flyers for Future Shop. No, wait, they showed that CGI thing at a movie I saw a few months back too. I even forgot it was coming out in September instead of November for a while, so I still haven't preordered it. I don't even think there's any local 7/11s for me to buy whatever they're selling that's Halo 3 branded. Nobody talks about it in our school, not even the only friend I have with a 360 cares, and nobody that I know beyond people in this forum are hyping it. I told a friend who was asking when the Crysis demo comes out that Halo 3 was coming out on the same day, and he took 10 guesses to get it right. I feel like I'm encased in a plastic ball or something. It's really scary.

Ah, however this is not the gamers fault, rather the publishers lack of advertisement. It is a bummer certain AWESOME games (Pshyconauts)become ignored. In the end it's still the publishers fault, not Halos or the gamer.

So tell me this, how is this the games MS is basing it's whole console on? It isn't releasing until almost 2 years into the console's life. They hyped Gears Of War last year. They are gonna hype Ninja Gaiden next year. They hyped Perfect Dark at launch. They seem to have a major release to hype every year, along with other big titles as well.

Theres a lot of people out there that love this series and we are very excited about playing it.Why not let us enjoy the game and all the hype that goes along with it.Its not like microsoft is tricking people into buying halo,most people that are buying it are fans of the first 2.
