i just got odin sphere, MLB 06 the show, and is waiting for Tomb Raider: Anniversary which is coming out very soon.
Doesn't feel like a drought to me.
Forza Motorsport 2 is coming out today, Shadowrun in June, Mass Effect and Bioshock most likely in July/August, plus you have Lair, NGS and Warhawk for the PS3, then MP3, SMG, RE4 and SSBB for the Wii. Then you have the sports games like NCAA Football 2008, Madden 2008, All Pro Football 2008, etc. I bet I'm missing a few games inbetween those. Don't even get me started with the rest of the year.
No drought. Just more empty pockets. :(
I'm a PCgamer and I don't think I will suffer through any drought:)
Combat Mission: Shock force, Spaceforce2 and Settlers VI will provide me with lots of entertainment
Settlers VI already? :o I haven't been watching that series for quite some time then.I'm a PCgamer and I don't think I will suffer through any drought:)

Were you gaming summer 2006? If not, you have no knowledge of the meaning of "drought."foxhound_fox

I'll be playing Starcraft: Broodwar for a time, i dont know later.wklzip
Same here! I'm playing through the original missions as well, plus the unlimited amount of battle net.
No need for new games all the time, I'll have plenty of fun playing CS:S, DOD:S, C&C3, Supreme Commander,CoH, ArmA..etc...etc....
Coming soon is "Insurgancy". It's a Source Mod..Check it out! It looks mighty impressive, an updated CS:S in a way. Hopefully Quake Wars releases sometime in the summer, that would be a nice treat to hold me over until this fall, which looks crazy. I really can't stand this Fall onslaught that us Gamers get every year, it seems to be getting worse each year.

I am stocked up, Counter-Strike: Source, Red Orchestra, Hidden: Source, UT2004, Call of Duty: United Offensive to keep me company when the rare occurrence of a game drought on the PC takes place.
In terms of Single player I have the whole Myst collection and Neverwinter Nights which I purchased recently.
I am playing Morrowind again and I reinstalled Starcraft. So I guess I'll survive.
EDIT: Mario Strikers Charged is out on the Wii ( well, in Europe anyway :) ), and Darkness is coming out soon, from the makers of Riddick.
Were you gaming summer 2006? If not, you have no knowledge of the meaning of "drought."foxhound_foxI was fine in the summer 2006 thanks to the replay value of my *games* library, I also got Oblivion quite late (in the holidays) so that kept me occupied, but 2006 wasn't such a good year for games in general.
I'll be playing Starcraft: Broodwar for a time, i dont know later.wklzipI started playing some SC:BW recently too (I got into the mood after watching the SCII demo). Though right now, at this very moment, I'm deciding whether I should purchase NGB off ebay, so I might start playing that instead (The problem is I don't actually have an Xbox. The plan is to borrow my friend's, which is collecting dust because he's too lazy to either find games he actually likes for it or sell it).
Just buy old games. This is what i'm planning on buying during your so called 'drought':
