This holiday belongs to SMG, SSBB, and Halo !

As far as popularity goes those are the most popular games of this holiday season.

Now... what will happen to the new IPs ? I can see Mass Effect selling well, and maybe Heavenly Sword. But considering the PS3's install base is not that big we will have to see about that.

I bet Nintendo is gonna make a lot of money this year software-wise. With SMG and SSBB.

On another note- I hope that Mass effect and Bio-Shock sell well, though I dont have a 360, these kinds of games need consumer support.Iorning_board

my newly upgraded comp can handle a lot of things it couldn't before. i regret getting the 360 (though i got the core for free) cause now i can play the games i want on the pc. halo 2 included. and rainbow six. my pc has seen so much more gametime than the 360. im not getting bioshock or mass effect, but i have a feeling i can run them on my pc so (i dont know anything about them xcept for their hype) does any of them have good multiplayer for pc?

EDIT: sorry, i think only bioshock was on pc? i saw the preorder box i think

Nope. BioShock is both on 360 and PC.

does it have good multi? i think it's single player oriented right? im hoping my comp can run crysis. i usually dont care crap for graphics that much, but crysis is just too good looking. even if i have to run everything that has to do with graphics with very low settings. usually, i think graphics as good as bf2142 on high is the most i ask for in a game that i want graphics in. until crysis of course.

Well Melee was probably the best multiplayer experience on the Gamecube last generation, so naturally people have high expectations that Brawl will be amongst the best multiplayer fun on the Wii. At least, thats how I see it.

Basically my point is with the big evolution Tekken and Soul Caliber is putting into their new games Brawl is somewhat failing in comparison. Will still be fun though

Its one of the best made fighters ever. They have a great battle system, pretty good graphics and sound, awesome and addicting multiplayer and a strong single player.

I disagree nintendo is throwing in plenty of new features into Brawl. More characters, orchestrated music, unique items, Super smash tokens, that perfrom super moves, it seems to be as much of an update as any other fighter.

Let's please include Uncharted: Drake's Fortune in that there list, ok? While Heavenly Sword and Ratchet and Clank may score AAA before it, Uncharted is going to be the true Killer-app of the PS3 come year's end. ISA_Scum

Rainbow six vegas on pc was horribly done by ubisoft and there are more people one the 360 version then the pc one. Also if you had this newly upgraded pc shouldn't you be talking about Crysis, Spore, etc... O and mass effect isn't coming out on PC.... yet :P
