This is how long it has been since each system got an AAAE (UPDATED)

What's a very low scoring game that you still hold dear to this very day ?

For me it has to be either Mario Kart 64 or Age of Empires 1.

I just assumed it sold well enough to get the physical copy expansion XCOM: EW on last gen consoles.

God, I really really really hope XCOM2 gets atleast a digital only release for consoles.

Is it that big a deal for a game to get a 9 and up? I see no difference in quality between most most 8 and 9 games... and sometimes the AAE games deserve higher praise

Movies get such a huge pass... if most critics give movies a 90%+ review, it's almost certain you'll be let down. But movies in the 60% - 80% percentile tend to be the solid ones.

Review scores are just one guy's opinion. Like, homeboy is writing a 'book-report' on this game he has to play.

Is this thread not kind of dumb? You could just post this thread whenever your favored system gets an AAAE to make it look better because its unlikely that the other systems got one at the same time.

It's mentioning the latest AAAE games of every system. There's no favouritism here. Every system gets highlighted depending on whether or not it has had an AAAE title recently. I don't see what the problem is.

Here an example.

- Plattform A got a single AAAE in November 12

- Plattform B got 10 AAAE but all of them are before june.

- Poster makes this thread in November 25.

Which plattform will look better?

I play games not scores and the most recent game on PS4 released just few weeks ago (Digimon World Cyber Sleuth), one of the best JRPGs to release this generation

If you liked Awakening, go with Birthright. It's basically a full sequel to Awakening in terms of how it is structured and how it plays.

Right, but according to this thread the plattform with the latest released game is seen as the better option and not the one with the most AAAE games, because time is the only metric used here. I second the notion that this threads entertainment value has a dated appeal. It's funny as a one off, to highlight look how long its been for these pathetic machines, having it as a constant just seems odd, because it's just a moving goal post all the time.

Now the counter argument is that 99% of SW threads are trash, so we might as well keep this one while we're at it.

But it got reviewed on PS4 and got best score possible. Goes well with other 10/10 and various other accolades of SONY's world class gaming.
