This is the way i see it.....

okay this is my opinion on this-gen game consoles-

XBOX 360

• PROS-
• Biggest selection of games at the moment
• Best selection of games at the moment
• Great graffix
• best online service(xbox live)
• CONS-
• Backward compatibility issues
• Overheating
• Unrealiable console
• Shooter game heavy

Nintendo WII-

• PROS-
• Least expensive
• Casuals can enjoy it
• Big titles this year and in the long run
• inovative controller
• CONS-
• online....*sigh
• shortage of systems(good and bad i guess)
• scapegoat games, or games nobody will buy but they still make them
• least graffical power

Playstation 3

• Pros-
• great graffix
• sixaxis inovation
• blu-ray standard
• home
• great games in the future
• CONS-
• Price
• shortage of games
• Price(yes i know i put it twice)
• backward compatibility issues

well that's all i could think of now. i will put more as the day goes on. if anybody has something to add/comment on, post it and i might put it up their if it is non fanboy-biased. i am a nintendo console owner but i thought i was fair to the 360 and PS3. like i said, tell me if i forgot something.

I agree with everything except hardcore Wii gamers losing interest. Also I'd say that the 360 is shooter heavy, not FPS heavy. Many of it's best shooters are Third person. (GRAW, Gears)Spartan070

I think that the PS3 will have a wider selection of games. Unless you mean what's already out.nickmag

I think hardcores enjoy the Wii as much as casuals. I mean, I'm a hardcore gamer and LOVE the Wii. :)  But otherwise excellent list.SyluxElite

how come you put backwards compatability issues for PS3 and not Xbox 360? Xbox 360 has the biggest and not the best selection of games. thats an opinion, I prefer Virtua Fighter 5 to any next gen game, thats just my opinion. saying a console has the best games is an opinion.-uHuRu
