[QUOTE="DrinkDuff"][QUOTE="project343"]Fairer comparison:

Versus:

This concludes that there was less of a graphical jump between the Gamecube and Wii then the N64 and Gamecube. Even then:

N64 - $200.
Gamecube - $200.
Wii - $250.

I see an unfair price.

Then again, you don't buy a Wii for graphical power, so all is remotely forgiven. I still wish I could see what Brawl would look like on the Xbox 360 or PS3. :(

I am pretty sure N64 was $300 when it was first released.

64 was going to be $250, but dropped to $200 in a last-second decision. Of course, that's US$.

Ohhh and this one too! More of fun but that is real physics! Click here.gigabrowser12
Those are still mediocre physics when you compare them to games like CellFactor (yes, it was canceled, but it existed), The Force Unleashed.

Oh, and then there's Alan Wake.

All I have to say is that some people think that the wii has the same hardware as the cube, and graphics, and everything. Edit: top is cut scene? No?

The RE4 cut scenes are created in engine on the fly.  This is proven by the fact that using an action replay, you can change the cut scenes.

I thought Super Mario Galaxy was proof enough that the Wii owns the GC, but unfortunately some sheep are proving the exact opposite with shameful logic. Keep the work.

[QUOTE="Sparkys"]

Well, SSBM is an early GC game, i'm sure the GC could pull out something very close to SSBB.

and thats the way you are suppose to compare it. 1st gen games to 1st gen games, what do you think the wii games are going to look at the end of it's lifetime? im sure it will be better than RE4 and xbox games.

The problem is, people are saying the Wii is a gamecube in a different shell.  If that were true, Wii's 1st gen would actually be equal to later gen gamecube games.

(PS: Clearly the Wii isn't exactly a GC, but the Wii was left in the dust graphically by the other systems.)
