I'm pretty sure that the TC list the quality games as bad just because it's looks kiddy, despite the fact that Zack and Wiki got AA here, and Professor Layton got AAA. Drawn to Life was a decent game, no where near as bad as some of the shovelware you listed.hiphops_savior

I agree 100% on GTA4. My point was just that the Wii sucks in my humble opinion ( PLEASE don't crucify me!!!). It had a few good games, but now im pissed i bought one. My lil brothers loved Zack and Wiki. Not htat i couldn't have, i just didnt. I'm a gorehound, gotta love that M.

LOL...I had bought many of those kind of games over the years but mostly for the PC. I did get Blues Clues on the PS1 for my son years ago.

Allowing this kind of trash is what Atari did in the 80's that caused the whole industry to collapse. Nintendo used to have strict quality control to safegaurd from shovelware now it's seems like thier promoting it. That is a myth. The Nintendo seal of approval was nothing more than to confirm that a games was allowed to be made for a Nintendo system. There was a lot of problem with bootleggers making NES games.

Go back and look at the 5 fisher price games on the NES and you will understand what I am talking about.

To me GTA4 is great if your 12 to 18 but it does not intrest me at all and MGS4 does intrest me but its more of an interactive movie then a game and I personnally don't have that much time to watch all the cut screens and I would much rather play Strong Bad or go on line with DoD, MKwii or MoH:H2

the reason for the videogame crash was market over-saturation with software and hardware, it didnt really have too much to do with Atari

The only two games that you posted that are nintendo games aren't bad at all and one of them was even AAA (yes Professor Layton is AAA and deserves it) you also fail for posting Zack and Wiki and MLB Power Pros.

Looking at you kill to death ratio for all the so called adult games (Halo3, GoW, CoD4.ect.ect.) I would say you are around 14 or someone with little to do to be able to invest so much time into games. In other words if you were or are in college/university you either just play games and have no life or will be failing soon. Anyway all the games you listed are made for kids ie:14-18 year olds thats the target age. so really the kiddy console IMHO is the 360.. anyway when you get a PC try out Day of Defeat its all about Flags not frags baby...

The VC is probably the one thing that justifies the purchase of the wii. Which is sad, becuase the best part of the wii is the past's games.

If you go to a gamestop store, you're likely ti find a wall full of solid, high quality titles, and a relatively low number of shovelware. The PS2 isn't the shovelware system that sheep make it out to be. It does have it yes, some of which it shares with the wii, but for the most part the way that developers saw the two systems was entirely different. It might have something to do with the fact that the PS2 was harder to develop for.

The wii has like, what, 20 ... 30 decent titles as opposed to maybe 200 shovelware?
