dang. i would consider something like that without the 3 screens lol. brings the thing outa my budget. w/e getting new rig in mid/late '11
[QUOTE="ferret-gamer"]
[QUOTE="NVIDIATI"] Fine we'll all pool together. his setup + my extra 5870/monitors + your ability to optimize/overclock = A godlike gaming machine! NVIDIATI
hehe
I also have an extra 8800GT sitting around we can use as a physx card :P (though I'm not sure if that can still be done with ATI cards) it can be done on windows 7 still, just not vista. So what your saying is that graphics are the only things that matter about a movie? So that means that Meet the Spartans on bluray is a better movie than the Godfather?
Wow, we all now respect you as the greatest person ever to grace system wars with your presence...gamebreakerz__Someone is jealous... Ahhhhhhhh no. If you can get x frames a second more than me then well done but the human eye struggles to register change after about 30 so I don't care. Gamebreakerz is right you know. I use to have a PC rig two years ago that I could show off in system wars.. but looking back.. I spent all that money just for a few frames more per second.. Not to mention, dropping $hundreds more that others when in reality it was pretty much the same crap.. The other person who saved money, had the same result, had the last laugh, and he was laughing to the bank.. Go figure.. to each his own? Whatever floats your boat..
Before I begin...I want to let you guys know that I am a proud owner of all 3 consoles and both the PSP and DS since launch. They are hooked up to my 46" Samsung 1080p LCD in the living room.
However, when I game on my PC you see below, no other system comes close.
Omnisystem
*fixed*
I hope you're going to take that plastic stuff off the monitors.

The human eye can see 60fps = FACT
if your eyes cannot detect the massive differences between 30 and 60fps then you have a big problem with your eyes. I suggest you to go for an eye exam...
Nice setup all in all!
Personally, I would pick square edged - thin bezel monitors as opposed to this new Samsung stuff they put out. I have three 2443BWs here and they are a charm, with their adequately thin bezels and fit together really nicely. And really somehow 1920x1080 for monitor doesn't really compute well with me, 1920x1200 is the way to go for 24", but that's my personal opinion :).
Have fun with gaming! :)
EDIT: Just for comparison

I thought you would post some games which look amazing on your PC but no :| this is just a look what I went out and spent lots of money on thread. I hope you enjoy your gaming to come but showing off on here comes across as a little sad and needy imo, best keep it blogged next time.

To be fair lines like that make you seem jealous. The guy is proud of his new set-up, nothing more. No different to people shwoing off their gamer tags, or computer specs.
He's showing us that PC gaming is for enthusiasts who like to have the ultimate experiance.
Yeah, seriously...even with DSL it slowed down my computer :P. Anyway, nice setup, TC :D.you werent kidding about the 56k:shock:
nofriekinlemons
i have the same kind of set up, except i game on my plasma tv in my bedroom. It is hard to use a keyboard and mouse sitting in a bean bag chair though, so i only play pc games that are compatible with a 360 controller. If i cant use the controller, i get the 360 version of the game instead.
I have highspeed internet and if I have problems with load times on your pics I wont give you the satisfaction of bragging about your lil pc. Shrink the pics like a good boy or suffer me spaming your thread with troll pics..:)
I am currently busy overclocking it to 4.2GHz. With school and work, I don't get much time to do it. However, once I finish, look forward to me posting tons of screens for you guys.
