What happened to adapting?
[QUOTE="II_Seraphim_II"]ITS NOT CONTROLLER LAG!!!! its mass. No one has twitch reflexes. your limbs and muscles weigh something, so when you move its not instant. It's like that ON PURPOSE. and didnt they release a patch to make the game more COD4-esque for all the people who believe every shooter should be a COD4 mod?KHAndAnimeWorst excuse for input lag I've ever heard. No excuse, fact.

why adapt to something one doesn't like, especially if its something intended for entertainment, and not a necessity. i gave KZ2 the old college try, played through about half the game, and i just didn't like the feel of the controls. it certainly doesn't make it a bad game, but its just not for me.[QUOTE="RadecSupreme"][QUOTE="clone01"] or somebody doesn't like the feel of the controls in the game. its all personal preference.clone01

1. Killzone 2 is not a twitch shooter like modern warfare 2.
2. There is no lag in the aiming.
3. don't you have something else to do with your time then posting old youtube videos....?
this is such an useless compaint....guerilla games has already addressed this a couple days after launch and they patched in a setting for those whom were crying about it so they gave an option to make it "similar" to modern warfare's controls.
how is this still a big deal, its amazing how many people still cry about it.
if you cant handle the controls go back to COD thats it.
Theres no point in complaining thats the way the game plays, it has a weighted feel, I do fine when i play that game and I also do fine in COD, some people are just ignorant. geez
That "problem" which didn't even affect everyone anyway, was fixed in like, April.
Dig a little deeper for slander material, please. ;)
As you can see, this is not a coding glitch, its purposely made like that. This is a video game, and people tend to exaggerate for effect. In the same manner games like COD4 have super human aiming speed and reflexes, KZ2 has slower than normal human reaction speed to simulate mass. Sometimes you need to overdo something before it becomes noticeable. They released a patch though for people who want twitch shooters, so the whole point of this thread...is well, non-existant.II_Seraphim_II
If they patched it then it doesn't seem like something they purposely wanted in the game.
Mass does not determine your reaction speed, mass only determines how difficult it's going to be to continue to move, even the fattest people in the world can almost instantly move their joints. Even when you try to lift an object that you personally cant move due to strength, your muscles begin to flex the moment you decide to try and move that object. If you have already decided to move and it takes you a couple seconds to start moving their may be something wrong with you.
If they wanted to give you the feeling of weight they should have made it take longer to do a simply action through animations instead of taking longer to start the actual animation. Mass isn't going to cause your brain to turn off for a few seconds.
I never had a problem with kz2's controls.. unless you count the first time I played the demo, when I got used to them withing 10 minutes
obviously u have no idea what your talking about. i use my military issues M16 every 6 months on the rifle range when im not deployed elsewhere which means im VERY familiar with how this weapons works, and just so u know and cant claim pwnage, i also own pistols and also a military issued LMG. NONE of them have lag like that.....would get u killed in real lifeIn real life there is the same delay from when you pull the trigger till the bullet actually comes out of the gun.
