Own both a macbook with OS X snow leopard and a windows 7 desktop.

love both equally. i like to edit video/pictures on my mac for my side job, and use my PC to play games on and just every day home computing. i have no gripes about using either of them. both excellent platforms.

I kind of hate Macs. I'd love them a lot more if they offered a little more flexibility, were cheaper then their incredibly expensive prices, and were actually useful for gaming.

But like, they aren't. They are awesomely streamlined and convenient and hip, but... yeah.

Once Vista got updated it was fine.

I went from XP SP3 to Vista SP1 and found it to be a lot better.

It was a lot faster and had DX10+ support, I never got why people clung on to XP so badly... it's not that good at all.

Thank you captain obvious. Is not like the 95% of the market share didn't make it clear.

my specs...1500usd at the time...and its an alienware...^^ why i dont like mac got more than 2x ur computer for just 200extra

Meh. I'm a tech geek, and specs matter. I'd take the ugly Alienware with the specs anyday. Same exact price and specs? Then maybe I'd care about how my "tool" looks. Differnent strokes and all.

It doesn't look any worse than the Mac, I think they look about the same actually.
