Yes I do remember the Gears of War marketing blitz. You know who paid for it? Microsoft. UT3 isn't going to have a huge company to foot the bill this time since its a multiplatform game. UT3 will not have the marketing that Gears had. I can guarantee you that.

And even with that huge amount of marketing, Gears of War has sold 4 million copies. That's half of what Halo 2 sold. Half. So how exactly has UT 3 going to beat it again? The UT serieshas never had the sales of the Halo franchise. Not once. I highly doubt UT3 os going to drastically change things in that respect by getting the kind of sales Halo enjoys.

I'm not even going to address those claims you made about Halo being a last gen game and UT 3 being better because frankly, that's all just your opinion.

with what? Galaxy? One game won't determine anything Nintendo can't rely on the wiimote for the whole gen u know, people aren't that easily fooled. Atleast 360 has a huge variety of potentially excellent games coming from great developers catering to more than just the party-gamer market. Even if nintendo pull it off i don't care they will still suck in my eyes for getting too few 3rd party games that own. Until i see 10 games worth buying a wii is not for me (its more likely that my parents wud get one anyway, wii? hardcore? pffft :lol: ).

Anyway while i recover from that rant I'd like to see i agree mostly with the TC. Sony and ninty are gonna produce the goods in terms of games this holiday, 360 has literally got the other 2 by the danglers in terms of software. So much so that i won't even be able to get all the games i want this year i'll have to wait for 08 to get them, so much for not having a ps3 in '08 i'll just finish Mass Effect and HL2:OB way into '08.
