At the start it looks likes Nagrand. Then there's other scenery that reminds me of Thousand Needles/Feralas. In first person view there's less resemblance.

It looks very promising indeed. I cant wait to give it a try to be Honest.

Not really, it's a tried and true business model. Just look at LotR Online, they recently switched to a F2P model with microtransactions as an option and their revenue has doubled because of it. I'd bet within 4-5 years all MMO's will be using this model.

The entire game and all of its items, features, charaters, etc... is available free. There is nothing that a guy that spends $10,000 on the game can have that you would not be able to earn by playing it just like any other game with unlockables (Fallout, Mass Effect, Oblivion, CoD, MoH, BFBC2, etc...). Like I said, I will buy items only to give the developers some money since I will likey love this game and feel that they deserve the money. I might just give the items to some friends.

Borderlands + Brink...yes...WoW? Not at all. Just because its colourful doesn't mean its WoW...

They are a number of games with artsy/comic style that came before WoW....

LOTR Online is free, never knew that. IS there any catch?? and do you have to provide a credit card number to play?

Yeah, it looks pretty badass, and it's free. Can't beat that. I just wish the guy you play as didn't look so stupid.

Yea, the devs have said that many times. It is an MMO but they want people to know that it is first a 1st/3rd person shooter, and then that it has a progressive character system of item and skill custimization, and finally that it is an MMO (because it is massive, it is multiplayer, and it all happens online). Basically, whenever anyone say MMO, they think of WOW, and this game is clearly not WOW in terms of gameplay.

Despite being a shooter, this game had me at free.

I saw a trailer for this awhile ago and didn't think much of it. This trailer definitely shows more to it though. Looks great IMO.

I am so glad that 99% of people posting in this thread are excited about this game, many of which had not heard about/seen it till they saw this thread. I really hope to get the word out as much as possible on this game.
