Correct. Not everyone can, but if a game is good, then it'll be successful. Many big MMOs have done this, many shooters have done this, and this game will surely pull it off. It looks to good/promising not to. I have played many games that offer microtransactions but I have never been one that buys the stuff, however this game might be the forst one that I do buy things. Nothing that'll change the gameplay though. Like I said, I work for my equipmment, but I do want to give these developers what they have earned (might not even use the items I buy, basically just donating money to the devs).

I'd much rather pay for a game with a decent price and have everything available to me than play a game for free with a small amount of content available unless I buy it all. It just doesn't seem like the kind of game where microtransactions are gonna turn them the profit they're looking for. The entire game and all of its items, features, charaters, etc... is available free. There is nothing that a guy that spends $10,000 on the game can have that you would not be able to earn by playing it just like any other game with unlockables (Fallout, Mass Effect, Oblivion, CoD, MoH, BFBC2, etc...). Like I said, I will buy items only to give the developers some money since I will likey love this game and feel that they deserve the money. I might just give the items to some friends.
Almost 50 posts in and no one thinks it screams "World of Warcraft"? With guns obviously.

In terms of graphics/art style, possibly...
In terms of gameplay, no. This actually looks fun, not tedious. Sorry if I have offended your love for WOW.
