Right... the system that 90%+ of the time that brings out better multiplats is going to be effect because of a console with a blu ray disk that requires installs? to perform the same as a DVD .
I'l take the 3 discs over that thanks. Blu Ray is absolutely the most underwhelming upgrade, sure its alot more space, and is hard to scratch, but it heavily relies on installations in gaming, making it crap. leave that to PCs.
I noticed that this issue is getting out of hand.siLVURcross
You and me both. Seriously, this subject is going overboard.

Yeah, there have been way too many topics, for something that no one will be able to know for sure, the game looks and plays great according to all previews, so who cares?http://hatimaki.blog110.fc2.com/blog-entry-1280.html

but its not mandatory and it was only featured so you don't have to hear the DVD drive buzzing away. The best Final Fantasy game ever made was on the Super Nintendo. And seriously, who really cares that we can't play the game in Japanese??? That's the only thing omitted to save space btw....i noticed final fantasy should just stick with playstation

1. Consoles dont have ALOT of installation space anyway, yes I consider 120GB not that much considering. 2. Plug & Play advantage is lost. 3. In this case it is mandatory, while 360's option is optional and doesnt effect performance.[QUOTE="Cow_tipping"][QUOTE="Birdy09"]

and devs decide if a game should be installed on the ps3 example is killzone 2 that game runs from the disc with no install

Actually First party devs have been doing Blu-Ray games with faster load times and no instalation for years. Hell look at Uncharted and Heavnly sword. It can be done its just many devs are lazy. And the 360 has multiplats that are better 90% of the time? Oh come on, lately the PS3 has been getting better multiplats.

Keyword here, first party, all of a sudden all third party devs are "lazy?" no, it doesnt work that way, theres a difference between budget & knowledge than lazyness not to mention the support. How about the PS3 for not selling enough units fast enough to make exclusivity a viable option for 3rd party developers. There are many factors that effect 3rd party developers and Sony did themselves no favors this gen.so who should i kill, the 360, microsoft or square enix?

If that's all you can complain about, you need to think of a better argument.ZookGuyUmmm Am I the only one that noticed the HUGE graphical difference? In the original you can see the pores on her face, he hair is thinner strands, the shirt has better textures, the colors are better. I could go on for ages. The original pics are FAR better then what we have now.
EDIT: As Mythrol said though, the originals could just be target renders.

So what happens if you play a lot of games? Suddenly, the drive fills up and you end up out of room. At least with the optional system of the 360, you call the shot and can pick and choose. Look at the opposite end of the spectrum--MGS4. It has mandatory installs at each chapter. For several minutes each.[QUOTE="alien_thats_red"]The best Final Fantasy game ever made was on the Super Nintendo. And seriously, who really cares that we can't play the game in Japanese??? IX wasn't made on the Super Nintendo ;) Wrong its been stated that due to space constraints the ability to travel to previous areas is unavailable, which for all we know could drastically change the game. Its no ones fault but SquareEnix. After stating that it would effect nothing by going to the 360 Square have announced now that in fact it has effected the game, thats why people are a tad angry about this. I mean what else has been omitted from the final game? We may never know.i noticed final fantasy should just stick with playstation

I'm simply referring that 9 is, and that it wasn't made on the Super Nintendo, hence the wink. I don't care for "constraints" or why Square didn't make 7 for the N64.
I dont care about graphics downgrade its an RPG who cares about graphics but whats bothering me is why there is no Japanese voice acting in PS3 version X_X:
we all know PS3 blu-ray can handle it its not fair to not add it just because you want to be fair with 360 owners.
[QUOTE="Birdy09"]Installing to a Hard drive is better than reading from a disk in every way. Get a clue man. ... on PC yes. the fact that the PS3 as a CONSOLE requires it on many of its games shows the weakness of Blu ray. then again barely ang games require multiple discs, paying premium price for technology that adds very little to gaming is just bad. I have a clue. installations dont benefit consoles the same way it does PC.Right... the system that 90%+ of the time that brings out better multiplats is going to be effect because of a console with a blu ray disk that requires installs? to perform the same as a DVD .

How dare you ask a COW to accept reality, I think you are a prime candidate for some SONY dicipline. Why not just blame sony for not making PS3 as powerfull as they first claimed it was supposed to be insteed of bashing 360 for no reason all the time???
PAL360
Wow.. Cows (just the fanboys not the real gamers)have been *****ing this entire gen.. You guys need to seriously chill. It's SONY's fault as to why all of these devs have decided to switch up this gen... A $600 console.. Are you friggin kidding me??? Don't blame the devs for actually trying to turn a profit at some point this gen..

It added the feature due to the noise the 360 makes when a disk is being read. Please Log In to post.
