I just got into the resistance 2 beta and man it ROCKS!!!

It loads really fast, there isn't any lag what so ever, even in MP the graphics are better than i expected, the gameplay is crazy, especially in co=op mode :D you got everything, bosses, huge waves of kimera shooting you and your friends,bubble shields, great guns, great controls, what can be better?

Nope, only online and online co-op,(i forgot the other mode's name) co-op features you and others on the server againts kimera(and bosses :D) and the other mode features players vs players :P

I'd assume you're talking about the auguer- that's basically a wall that you can shoot through on one side. The buble shield is something you can go through but not shoot through and is deployed, not holstered to a weapon.

I think people are talking about the wrapping around of it now

But seriously- the whole appeal of the bubble shield wouldn't work the same in another game.

But really now shields are cool, and bubble shields are great cuz you can see and shoo through them :) anyways they really are needed in R2, not so much in halo3 but they can be very useful sometimes

No....just no..

Gears 2 seems to have great MP but I really don't think it'll stand a chance against R2's, also Gears1's MP wasn't that great...

I wasn't a big fan of it...Tho I'm not a big fan of any shooters Since one plot could describe about 90 percent of themAll_that_is_Man

I'm not a big fan of shooters on consoles either tbh (Well except gears that is) but this beta really raised my interest, not only in this game :P

It makes this huge bubble and anything shot at you is reflected back to the enemy

I don't see why anyone cares since I'm sure there are much older games that used bubble shields before

Without mics you just follow each other lol, but anyways not many people are in the beta you know...Many will probably get a mic once they get the game :P

definately best multiplayer game for the ps3 this year, but it cant touch half the stuff out on pc and 360.

I don't think so :) It's really cool, i don't think even gears or L4D will be better, dough i think it'll be a tie or something between L4D and R2 :P let's wait for the games before we compare them, but surely R2 has a good shot at MP of the year :P

i disagree, ive been doing the gamebattles thing, and if you dont have mics your done, their have been many times where my buddies have saved my life in the game by telling me they were commin up behind me and vice-versa mics are important for online.

BTW did i see a halo 3 bubblesheild in that first vid XD

Yeah it's working fine :| it loads faster 2day than yesterday lulz, just click play, it'll automatically select a server for you acording to your level:P that's what i did at first :P

UM..IDK...how about some interaction and REAL teamwork for once...somthing that im sure R2 does not have..

only haveing 4 ppl in a group makes things more personal, instead of having 60 battles with whoever and no interaction between players its far from MP GOTY, in L4D at least when i revive a teamate they know who helped them, and they could say "Thanks" or somthing like that, instead of some guy who just wants to continue his kill streak. L4D is just a more "TeamWorthy" game, which is what online MP is all about.

Big bosses and insane player counts do not make a Great MP game, the interaction and Fun between players does.

PC version is always superior in every way. KB/Mouse, Mod support, custom community maps, online, etc. L4D will be no different. Keep in mind as well that the 360 version limits the zombies to 40 on screen whereas the PC version reaches above 60 zombies on screen.
