Does Clear Skies use the same engine as the origional STALKER? If so, the game will probably be almost as demanding as Crysis.jbz7890
It uses an updated X-Ray engine.
This will be the best looking 2008 game. (no 56K)

The outside looks very very very similar to this. Especially the vegatation. And that looks like art. Getting a pic in a minute. Considering that the CryEngine2 is leagues ahead of GSC Game World's engine, I'm not surprised.CryEngine is overrated. I think Crytek should optimize there engine, instead of bragging about it taking such high end pc's a hard time to work, even though some games could be comparable graphically.
considering that its more advanced than every other engine in every possible way...its requirements are certainly not very high.
I'm playing it on high 4x AA with a geforce 8800 ultra 512 mb with a quad core running at 2.4 ghz with 3 gb cpu, and it has framerate problems. It is me complaining that game looks a little better then console games is poorly running on a high end pc that is this powerful, is because of poor optimization. I'm tired of hearing this because, Crytek engine right now is worthless because of this.8800 Ultras carry 768 not 512.
That alone easily shows that your lying.
