Will this work in my PS2?

Great for people who haven't played it yet. For people who have played it, it's a shame that there's no multiplayer included
If I could trade in U2 and U3 for half off the HD collection I would consider it, but that not being the case, games being $75 in Canada, and no multiplayer, the price is just not worth it currently.
I've been playing it and loving it. UC1 is pretty good, I started it on PS3 but never finished it. The step up to UC2 is incredible though, just amazing. Really, really good games that are all about pure fun and adventure. They remind me of when games were more about fun than spectacle. Amazing for people who never played them first time around, probably not as enticing for people who already played them.
Absolutely worth it though.
They somehow messed this up harder than 343 did with the MCC. No multiplayer is unacceptable and I'll only play it if it becomes a PS+ title.
Seeing how the name and concept is clearly plagiarism of The Master Chief Collection, I think it's fairly obvious they removed the multiplayer out of fear of what happened with TMCC, they basically took the easy way out.
Multiplayer wasn't the draw of the games...lets not overreact.
They are charging 60 bucks for this collection; the multiplayer should be there.

You're getting 3 games for the price of one.
Doesn't matter if ppl have already played it...you don't have to buy it if you don't want.

It would be one thing if they were selling three new titles for 60 bucks, but you're getting three old games that can be bought for dirt cheap.
lazy port job/10
It's not that bad. It's not TLOU Remastered where they literally made a PS3 game 1080p and that was that. They re-made blocky assets and enhanced the lighting. It was no Halo 2 remake, but it was hardly just a lazy port.

The PS3 versions can be bought dirt cheap, not the remastered 1080p 60fps versions which look and play MUCH better than the originals.
@davillain-: they made a few Mario collection already
One one snes of smb 1 through world
There's a port of smas on Wii which can play on wiiu so there's that now a collection w sm64 smss and smg on wiiu that be awsome
I've tried really hard to like uncharted, but every time I've tried to play it, i get so bored I stop. I can't see myself dropping any money on trying to like them for a 4th time
Just got it yesterday. Loving it, good excuse to go back to these games on PS4. Remasters arent for everyone, but I do love em.
I was all for buying this collection a few weeks ago. Then I downloaded and played the demo and realized I wasn't really interested in doing any of that again. The "platforming" is so brain dead easy that is seems like it isn't worth my time.

Exactly.
@blueinheaven: Uncharted more about fun than spectacle? What?! That's like the absolute polar opposite of what these games are about. They are basically the poster child of spectacle over fun. They are all about what you see rather than what you do. They are about as far away from what games used to be like as you can get.

How so? The gun play? The platforming? The puzzles? The melee combat??
Sounds like you're willing to say anything to put the game down. I dont see you bashing Tomb Raider reboot, which was heavily influenced by Uncharted.
I'm close to Uncharted 2's end (chapter 23). Loved both games, so far!
Can't wait to start Uncharted 3, and of course, Uncharted 4 next year.
I really love the timing of this collection, so when I'm booting up Uncharted 4 in March or whenever it's scheduled, the previous 3 will still be fresh in my memory. I'm ready to "Finish the Fight".... oops wrong franchise.

Agreed.
I'm making a speed run of the 3 games on normal, because when Fallout 4 comes out i'll not play anything else for months. I'll probably play them again, on an harder diff mode just before Uncharted 4 comes out.

Dude I'm right there with you. Fallout 4 is gonna own all my time this fall / winter. I'd like to get WWE2k16 but I'm not even gonna try until the next couple months are over. lol.

Put SW Battlefront in WWE2k16's place, and we are indeed in the same exact situation lol

All of it, the shooting mechanics are bad, the platforming and the puzzles are very mundane and the melee combat...Oh God...

Some of the worst game design ever, I haven't played Tomb Raider so I can't really say weather it's good or not, but I've played all 3 Uncharted titles and except for UC2, they're extremely underwhelming, at least the first one was an alright game but UC3 is an abortion

I haven't played the new Tomb Raider game. I avoided it because of my experience with Uncharted 2
The shoot outs were tedious to me. They were very slow paced due to the bullet sponge enemies. By the end of the game many of them require 3 head shots to take out. Focusing fire on a single enemy for that long really halts the pacing/action.
The platforming doesn't really exist. It's more like the climbing equivalent of cinematic walking. It's ultra slow paced on-rails movement. There's only precisely one way to go, it's tedious, has no challenge, and is genuinely pointless from a gameplay perspective. The worst part of this "platforming" is that something almost always breaks under Nathan's weight to needlessly prolong these abundant and pointless sections of "gameplay".
The game had 3 puzzles. 2 of them had the answers in your book and the other one was half solved by your partner. It would have been cool if they actually let you explore and figure something out for yourself. It might have actually felt like playing through an Indiana Jones movie.
The melee combat is basically just activating a QTE sequence. Other shooters opt for the quick, high damage close range single hit, but in true uncharted fashion, they halt the game to have you do a brain dead series of inputs that are almost entirely unnecessary.
Then there are whole gameplay-dead/pointless chapters like the opening scene, the museum heist, the foreign village, and the Ice Cave with Tenzen.
Uncharted 2 is all about sacrificing enjoyment/real interaction for spectacle. It's apparent in almost every single design choice they made with the game. It's an ultra superficial experience.
UC1 was okay, UC2 was good, and so far in UC3 it's already better than 1 at least.
Always find it funny when I see people hating on UC3 likes its the worst of the series. I'm sure it's the timing of when it came out and the fact that it is straight after 2, which is considered one of the greats last gen. It is a continuation of the way UC2 did things, and already has better pacing and encounters than 1 did.
