Wow, this game has some of the best textures i seen and the demo on xbox live is great, it's totally different game from demo i played long time ago much better, definite buy.

Yeah it sounded pretty intresting from the the Vivendi rep I talked to. I think he said at one point this guy blew upa part of a building that was 3 or more stories high and when the bricks hit the ground he stopped time, climbed on the bricks, then he would rewind time that basically lifted him up to the spot in that building. It sounded really cool and probably great replay value with different ways to play it.

Ashame the PS3 version is having problems though. I think this is going to be an exclusive for X360 this year because according to the rep they are having problems with the PS3 version. Sounded like it will be released early next year for PS3. Another great exclusive for X360 this year.

this game is cool. you can stop time stick a grenade on someone and watch there body blow up and you can see the invidual body parts

hell yea, i actually played and beat demo.

trust me game owns, pretty good physics interaction aswell even shoot pillows off crouches lol.

I wasn't super impressed by the demo. The time controls just seem to be a gimmick tacked on to what is otherwise a fairly standard shooter. The default controls felt really weird, I had to turn sensitivity to medium but even then it didn't feel quite right.

I predict a 6.5 - 7.0 from Gamespot.

i noticed one time fps dropped alittle, the framerate is very solid, the controls feel weird as first but they are actually good.

anyone who say's demo was bad doesnt play fps games.

It's not bad... it's just... mediocre. The time abilities are tacked on and end up feeling useless -even though they help you.

The point when I lost any real illusion is when you see the execution. You can reverse time... but you can't save the guy? I pumped 5-6 shotgun shells into the executioner's head, at point blank range, before he fired. I'm pretty sure it's not that hard to code it so that I get an AI teammate - after all, you get those at other points of the demo.

The destructible environments are cool, and the weapons are nice, though quite standard. The impression I got from the demo was a HL2 wannabe (complete with sniper crossbow!) with a gimmick tacked on. Anything above A would surprise me.

overall the games the best textured ive seen the character models have high res textures and walls look good upclose dont blur out.

fear and cod2 look last gen in comparison.

timeshift uses heavy amounts of displacement mapping.

lol, the sound effect from the grenade/machinegun sounds like it was ripped off half life.

the games cool, it's more fun than bioshock plus has online all that matters.

it's aweful....i dl'd it over the night and only played it for about 5 minutes this morning before i quit. The game looks horrible and doesn't even compare to ANY other FPS's on the 360. The OP obviously hasn't played many games if he thinks this looks great and plays great.
