Titanfall won't support split screen.

Not a big deal since I'm a pc gamer that plays games that rarely have it.

The only local multiplayer that I enjoy anymore is Smash Bros.; splitscreen isn't a very good gaming experience.

Wow. This is supposed to kill call of duty? No split screen, no campaign, only available on one next gen console, I just don't see it happening.

Even COD was reduced down to only 2 Player splitscreen, disappointed.

Split screen has always been one big plus consoles had and that is slowly disappearing.

Ghosts is sitting in the 70s on metacritic. Thats not a very high score at all.

Yeah, MW1 and 2 were great games. They deserved their 94 on metacritic. #dealwithit

Halo always had it too and I doubt they'll remove it next version. I hate it how these companies think split screen is something archaic no point bothering with anymore because we're online now.

Ironically enough both CoD (the most played online) and Halo (the one that popularized online on consoles) never ignored split screen. There are reasons why these games are successful and this is one of them.

I genuinely think part of the problem is that everyone's so focused on graphics now and *shudder* you actually have to make the game look slightly worse for splitscreen!

well this is SW so it matters. also, there's a lot of people that *enjoy* CoD if you look at the amount of players playing and we all know how amazing that game is

damn and years from now when they shut down the servers, the game will just be paper weight.

Online games like these should have local multiplayer feature for when there are issues and people cant connect online, or when they pull the plug on the servers

I am a Respawn supporter since IW, but...no Single Player, No split Screen, 6v6, et cetera...it's a lot to ask for $60 game. I think I'll pick it up for the $20 at this point...maybe $40 if it's just super awesome and my friends want my help online. I do think it will be a fun game, but I'm not liking the idea that if this game is successful we are going to see more games come out 'half-baked' from other publishers.

This game is going to push DLC maps like no other, I'm sure...something I don't buy.

I get the impression Respawn just don't have enough time to keep TF in the oven and TF2 will the be game we wanted with TF1. Once the TF2 releases, not to mention online competition like COD, BF, Destiny, Halo, etc...I wonder how long TF will be played before the community ditches the game for other games or TF2?

Then we'll have a TF disc that has no worth at all, just a disc you won't be able to play. That's one reason I dislike the idea of an online only game with planned sequels coming. I'm sure EA is excited, and M$ is going to see a boost in XBLGold accounts.

I agree with what you say that Titan Fall 2 will likely be Titan Fall 1 claims to be.

I think it is highly likely they're testing the waters with the first game,. but you're right that if this is successful (and it likely will be commercially), then other developers will follow suite with abandoning single player and split screen entirely and making half arsed games. I really hope that won't be the case.

While I am not currently hyped for this Titan Fall, I will be intrigued to see the direction this series takes in the future.

and how alive is forza exactly? not that it matters, Killzone launched a long side 2 very VERY well established MP shooters.

Yeah, TF definitely screams beta in a lot of ways, and I fear mass support will hugely affect our gaming hobby in the long term. They are going to pump so much $$$ marketing dollars into TF, it's going to be a huge success. With enough time and experience (lessons learned from TF), TF2 should be an outstanding experience offering a great many more modes/features, I'm thinking.

What's wrong with enjoying a game? Are you that precious about it? That's kind of sad.

Who cares if it has split screen? Nobody is buying this for local mp or a single player experience. This game is for playing online. Local mp is going the way of the dodo.

Was just showing you an example of a game that 'won' awards for a certain thing and how much of a failure that certain thing was (graphics in this case).
