TLOU graphical update is huge.

i kinda agree with you, however console fanboys under play it more than herms overplay it, i seen so much peasants say shit like

I'll be honest. I really didn't notice a huge leap at all. I mean I think there will be a big difference, but those pics didn't showcase that for me. Also, in the 2nd picture, was that taken 100 feet away from the TV and then zoomed all the way in? Because there is no way in hell TLOU looked like a PS1 game.

its going to be the same as playing a ps360 multiplat on the PC. no more no less.

I think Sony made a poor decision to release it like two weeks after the e3 where they showed off their next-gen console. I remember thinking the same thing when I first booted it up, and I think had it released earlier, I would have found it much more visually impressive.

I was hoping for a leap on par with Tomb Raider. Hopefully it'll look better in person.

Maybe if the pictures weren't small as hell I'd be more impressed.

Im just excited to play it for the first time. I dont care how minor the graphical upgrade is, i knew that it would include AA and be in full HD, which is a jump in itself considering how jaggy ND games tend to be.

Frame rate stability should be what excites people the most. Playing through TLOU all I could think about is how much better the frame rate would be on PC. A.I. was the second thought.

I would wait for a proper video, and there is no difference I could spot. The PS4 version is also very washed out if there is a single thing I can tell.

Yes, this is the only way to enjoy TLOU. You get to see the nice production values and decent story without the agonizing boredom of having to actually play it.

"Huge" is being sarcastic right? Looks like they just turn the contrast and brightness up a little bit on the PS3 version and labeled it the PS4 version. So $60 bucks for the same game but you have to pay for online now for PS4 version.

That's kind of what I was feeling as well.

AA and an increase in res will actually make this game look much better. The image quality was atrocious on the PS3. It has some stunning looking parts regardless but the remaster will help a ton.

This worth $34.99, not more. Halo CE for 360 was completely rebuilt and sold for $40 while this is just a copy/paste of their original presets+1080p and they're selling it for $60 wtf

I'm looking for that 60 frames trailer to see if it looks better in motion because I've seen many pictures but to me it looks nearly the same. In fact, I like the darker contrast of the old one even if it has a a few more jaggies.

Pass. I bought it already for the PS3 and wasn't feeling it, a higher res version isn't going to change my mind. My problem with the game had nothing to do with the graphics which I thought were somewhat decent. I wasn't feeling the gameplay.

My problem with these sorts of graphical update releases is that you only notice the difference for about 10 minutes, and then your brain kind of gets used to the improvements and starts to look as you remember it. So you just feel like your playing the same exact game over again.. If that makes any sense.. The same thing kind of happened to me with Wind Waker and Ocarina HD.. i beat those games So many times each, and while I was wowed about how much better they looked originally, I got used to it, and was just left with the game that I've already played over and over again.

I normally hate these sorts of releases unless they do something to do something with the gameplay.. Or add some levels or put in content that was cute for time purposes. Because thats actually what matters

Cash grab. It costs Sony almost nothing to put this out and they are charging full price for a last gen game.

The people who are defending this are oxygen deprived tools.
