TLOU hits UK records #1 selling game for 5 weeks straight

It's even eclipsing the entire next gen in terms of hype amongst many gaming communities.

Wouldn't surprise me if GTA5 goes on to be the highest selling game of the year. Interest in CoD is way down.

Very likely it will yes, im almost 99% sure The Last of Us will be one of the top games to be supported with that cloud/streaming service Sony is working on ( which is expected to  launch 2014 for PS4 ), Last of Us, uncharted games, infamous, killzone and so on are 99% guaranteed to be there for the PS4

Yeah I feel the same way.  If that happens then I'll probably pick up a PS4 later in 2014.

That would be a shame if CoD was the best selling game again. GTA V deserves it so much more. Even BF4 deserves it more. TLOU is doing amazing for a new IP exclusive to a single console and being released so late in a gen. Lems are buying PS3s just to play it because 360 has nothing coming out.
