I'd say it's lack of competition. Not that it's not selling well, on the contraty, but being no. 1 is always relative.Â

I wish more developers had the freedom that Naughty Dog has. They are capable of creating new IPs and they sell well every time... Why does it always work out for them?

I just wish other developers could have the same success when they make great new IPs. I'm not bitter. I just wonder what it is about Naughty Dog that allows them to have such freedom in an industry that is increasingly milking franchises because supporting a big budget new IP is too much of a risk.

Basically.
The early months of this year were loaded with big games.
We're in a dry spot where TLoU is the only "big release" over the course of a few months outside of NCAA and Madden, and American Football isn't going to take top spot in the UK.

Thats nice. It still wasn't enough to keep 360 from finishing dead last and won't save Xbone 180 from being a disaster.
with a 1 year head start they still finish last...
