Let's look at the top selling PS3 games, Resistance, MGS4 and Motorstorm. Yeah, you're generalizing.

Maybe because PS3 doesn't have any JRPGs at the moment (well just one: enchanted arms)? Lets face it, Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssesy didn't sell too well in NA.

Lost Odyssey sold better then all Shin Megami, Raidata Stories, Xenosaga, and Disgaea. The only PS2 JRPG that beat it are Star Ocean 3, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and Kingdom Hearts.

I said a lot of PS2 rpgs sold well in the United States...not all of them. Yes, PS2 was basically flooded with Jrpgs. Of course not all of them sold well. Xbox 360 only has a few Jrpgs, and ONLY ONE of them has sold decently. Square Enix is taking a gamble on this. I'm sure production costs to make this game for 360 cannot be cheap.

While I have a 360 FYI I was playing FF games before there were any Sony fans, so yes I will buy FFXIII. That game was the main reason I was planning to buy a PS3 in the first place. Thank you SE for saving me more than four Benjamins. :D

Based on how well they bought their Mistwalker games.......I'm going to say no.

We'll get even more evidence when Eternal Sonata is finally released for the PS3.

And we can't forget the fact that 40+% of overall JRPG sales usually come from japan.

The Xbox 360 is blessed with so much games, and so much rpgs, some might not even know what to do with all these great selections of games. So depending if I have the money to buy FF13, sure, why not.

I am an RPG gamer first and foremost,

360 is the RPG console this generation, so I will buy it for 360.

FFXIII was the only reason I was regreting not having a PS3, now I don't have any regrets at all!!! It's like asking if the Cows would buy Halo or GeoW if they were released for the PS3!!!

We are not happy that Sony lost another exclusive, we are happy because we will be able to play it!!

I am but I might still get it for the PS3....even though my own rule is multiplats=360

More or less. If the games are dead even and the only difference is discs i am getting it on 360. If there is a huge diffference in framerate then PS3....but i doubt that.....so 360 so far until PS3 version gives me a reason.

This news somehow overshadowed everything at E3 this summer,, but really, will this game even sell well on the 360?

The average 360 owner loves FPS or any game with all American action (look at the sales,,, and the targeted audience). Im not saying this a bad thing, but I just dont see FF13 sellin to well for the white box.

Be honest, sayin youll buy it just to boost 360 really makes no sense. Im just curious. I think most people enjoyed being able to gloat over ps3 owners more than actually being happy to have this game. Which is fine.

I didnt put a maybe option as obviously this game will get great scores, just like past FF games.

In spite of dozens of cows voting in the poll to offset the results, the game will sell at least 1 million units on the xbox 360 when it is released. That is more than enough incentive for SE to port it over.

Hell no. I hate Square games.

But I just love watching people cry, moan, and of course, create petitions as though having the game on only their platform is more important than actually playing it.

I'm not a Lemming but I will be buying the 360 version over the ps3 version for two reasons.

1. Achievements - yes my ps3 has a plan in place for trophies, but at their current rate of trophy enabled titles- we will have about 20 by the time FFXIII is released.

2. More importantly- MS has made a really strong attempt to bring RPGs of all types to it's console, which is unfortunately more then can be said about Sony. I'm a huge rpg fan, and I'll be supporting the console that is catering more to my tastes. Hopefully an equal amount of FFXIII sales, will light the fire under Sony's ass, and we may see a new Suikoden, Xeno, or Wild Arms.
