To the KZ2 nay-sayers........watch and learn.

Its a video of the "Behind the bullet" demo released on PSN last night. Its not just the commercial, it allows you to turn on and off different filters to see just how involved the KZ2 look is.

Whats outstanding about the demo is that you can remove the blur effects and see the game in a colorful, crisp, and totally different look. It really takes the whole "they hide stuff behind blur" argument and throws it out the window. You can see this best at about 1:30 and later (and longer) at 2:18, when it says "No Post".

**I also have to say that I do not think KZ2 is the second coming of christ. I think it fell short in some big ways (story, characters, etc). But I cannot deny the tremendous effort put forth by the Guerilla guys and how much they have going on, on screen at once.

That video doesn't make the game any more fun to me. I don't care how well the effects were done, the game just wasn't that much fun to me. And you can do some amazing stuff when the FOV is as small as theirs was.

I'm still nay sayin' Poppa. But I do think it's a quality title that should be experienced before bashing it.

But you are nay-saying a whole other aspect. And I agree with that part of it. But you just can't deny the technical power and knowledge behind the game. PoppaGamer

It's why I love PC shooters, The first thing I do usually is widen the FOV for petter peripheral vision.

Nobody said that the game looks bad....it looks great. It doesnt change the fact is that it doesnt looks better than Gears2 or RE5 on the 360 :P

Now if there were 1 million pre-orders and it says 1.32 million. i really doubt that the game only sold 320k units! VgChartz is doing something wrong with KZ2 because they never got the numbers right

The game is amazing. I just wish more people bought it

Game is still WAY over rated. I honestly think either people that call this game a epic FPS have not played many FPS games or even worse it just shows how sad the state of gamers are that they only care about looking at a pretty thing and not even gameplay. KZ2 was a fun game by in no way some epic FPS.

AI was bad. It was just dumb how when they were popping up from behind somewhere they would pop their head up 1/2 and turn it left n right then lower their head again. Then come back up. Even the biggest novice could get a ton of heashots because they made it so easy.It told you were to have your gun site rdy to shoot.

Or another thing about the AI they would run up to you and then stand there a sec saying something then start running back. Again a easy kill and bad AI.

No Story at all. I was told you have to go to their website to even find out why the ISA is attacking the planet. That is right in the game itself it can not even tell you why you are invading the planet. I never bothered looking it up because game never made me care enough to go to outside sources to find out what should be in the game anyways.

You do not get to use vehicles much but what you do use was nothing great. There is 2 lvls where you can use them if you want to consider the armor suite a vehicle. The tank had bad controls and the tank is the only true vehicle.

Spoiler-Your only buddy that is not a complete jerk gets killed (Garza) And even then it is not like you feel anything for him.

A alien world but do they take advantage of some unique looks?? Oh hecvk no just the same look copy and pasted through out the entire game no matter if its the bad guys or the areas you fight in.

Since I got most of the ribbons for online I have no desire to even do that again.

I really could go on and on about it but fact is ya it was fun but nothing epic.

So TC is trying to claim ownage with a CGI video that makes use of more complex lighting,more complex shadows,more complex textures.effects etc?,because KZ2 doesn't look like that on my TV screen.McdonaIdsGuy

OK, to be honest, it doesn't look THAT good on MY tv.

I guess time to upgrade my TV's video card then.

I didn't see anything real impressive when the Debut CE3 video was shown, those city building didn't look impressive and on most part it was on par with far cry 2. K2 looks miles better. Only thing that does look good is the foliage. Slambo86

My point is this... yeah it has good graphics, but the gameplay isn't very good, so who cares about the graphics really? Save yourself $60 and stare at some screenshots if you love the graphics so much.

you are dead wrong about the AI it is some of the best ai i have seen in a videogame so far. Try playing on elite difficulty and say the AI is stupid.

Yes there are different areas and Enemies

Some people just have a different opinion then you i never liked Half-life or Half-life 2 and though those games were totally overrated.

SOmething tells me you havent played the game much because it is obvious there are all the things you mentioned that are not in the that, are in the game.
