Why do you people say Halo is fast? its slower than games like battlefield/cod.... you moonwalk, its easy to aim ect, 30% of all kills are bloody melee for gods sake.
its one of the slowest shooters on the market.

@cainetao11:
As a veteran, cod or bf or any shooter, is anything but realistic. KZ is a great series. Love the psp, vita iterations, kz2,3. The first was meh.
arma is mostly the closest thing gamers got on the market.
No, It actually want assumed and it didn't bother me at all. A lot of posters here hate on Killzone, Resistance, and other Sony shooters and have never played them. I thought you were another poster doing the same. If not, my mistake.
I don't really like resistance either(actually I like it far less than KZ). Granted I don't really care for CoD or Battlefield much too. I don't really care for FPS actually. But I don't really get how KZ is generic. People use generic to describe everything these days. Its sort of lost its meaning. Unless people want to see the next FPS set in space with guns that shoot rainbows I dunno what they expect out of the genre.
You know those generic cereals at the grocery store that have different shapes, come in plastic bags, and have different names, but are almost exactly like the name-brand cereal?
That's what Killzone is. Having a futuristic setting, and "futuristic" guns, does not take away from the fact that its shooting feels very similar to other shooters, it's level design is very similar to other shooters, the pacing of the game is very similar to other shooters, and the mission structure is very similar to other shooters.
It's not like it's some vastly different game that has an experience unlike any other. Tiny variations can be found in EVERY game (even some of the most blatant knock-offs).
People are still feeling the effects of being Killzowned back in 09. One of the main symptoms was extreme damage control which is why people always throw around the word generic whenever Killzone is mentioned.
No.
Over 100,000 concurrent players were playing Halo 3 every day in 2009 and it was even out popping MW2 so I don't think any console FPS gamer gave a single sht about Killzone and it showed with its population count. Cows love to praise it simply because it's on the Playstation.
KIllzone 2 was active until its sequel came out. What are you talking about?
He said that people got "Killzoned" and are still feeling the effects of it. If people are still feeling the effects of it then imagine how owned Cows got when Halo 3 released as it currently has over 10,000 concurrent players online.
How is the unique gameplay KZ2 had generic. You cannot find any FPS game with weight/recoil like KZ2. People play COD and ADS from 1 feet away LOL, 0 weight, 0 recoild, hard aim assist, instant death, NASTY. I'm glad i was part of the best multiplayer game on PS3.
Shadow Fall looks to be headed the KZ2 way with full custom games and this time they are going from near no aim assist to 100% 0 aim assist.
I think the problem is most people dont even play it online or dont have the patience to master it.
The controls are a bit harder to give you a challenge, other than that I love the KillZone universe.
