Pretty much the same for me. I have games to catchup on that I can find deals on, but these two are day one for me.Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim.

..like me. Whats the one game you are willing to pay full price upon release?
For me I think the only game that I really want badly enough to pay full price and/or upon release is GTA V. GTA 4 is the best game this gen in my opinion.

you do know that when you buy games used, 100% of your money goes to gamestops pocket, (or wherever you buy them), instead spend $5 more and get the new version cause atleast the money goes to those who actually made the game.
Buying new means different things to different people. New can mean an unopened game or just coming out. I personally don't buy many games when they come out and wait for them to go on sale for something very cheap. Hence not buying new.
I buy all of my games via Digital Download for the PC, so I pay whatever the price is - whether it's discounted or not.
There's a lot of vendors to choose from, and the entire gamut is covered from the latest games to vintage cIassics.
RDR fixed most of the problems GTA4 had. The controls were tight and responsive, it had checkpoints, and for the most parts, it had great missions. The open world stuff was more tight in RDR to a lot of extent as well.theres where we disagree, rdr was clunky and the controls were anything but good, luckily the dead eye mechanic alleviated some of the frustration. and i think ur forgetting a lot of the missions were really not fun at all, sure there were some decent ones (even gta4 had some, bank rob mission anyone??) but for the most part most missions werent that great in either game, neither came close to the variety and level of fun san andreas had,not close.[QUOTE="funsohng"][QUOTE="broken_ops"]what u say about gta4 is true, but its funny- rdr was the same way and what i mostly see for it is praise while gta4 gets bashed. both sucked

i still say there was more to do in gta4, i had more fun it in then rdr,but that aint saying a whole lot. both games are a serious step down from previous gta games, which are obviously some of the greatest open world games ever
exactly what I have been saying for years. glad to know someone agrees instead of praising those games to no endUC3, Skyrim, Infamous 2, KZ3...
Pretty much any of the big name PS3 exclusives and multiplats that are highly rated.
What I usually wait for are what I call second tier games. Motorstorm, and sports game, music games, and family style games. Or I will buy those used.
For those that are patient enough, most games that are less than AAA-AA will usually be heavily discounted within 3-4 months.
Bayonetta is a game I may soon purchase. But I won't go used since Walmart sells it brand new for only $20 right now.
good online games, that i know i'm gonna spend hundreds of hours on. also good RPGs.
e: oh, and lots of indie-titles too. they are usually reasonably priced.
