Neither am I dude. One of my favorite Wii games is a hidden gem called Deadly Creatures. It scored 7.5 (good) which is a score I agree with because it's a very niche title. The best bit in the game is when one of two men hits the other with a shovel and he falls on the ground, and then the unconsious man becomes part of the level design. Your crawling all over this man on the floor as a TURANTULA. It's pretty awesome. You see, the "other" thing that Wii is good for is unique games.

I own a Wii and I wouldn't buy a Wii for those games. They need a lot more than that to convince me to buy their system and if the Wii wasn't a gift I would've never owned one.

That's not the case at all. Think: why would I say that about Goldeneye and not DKCR or M: OM or Zelda? Those are all top-quality games, and Goldeneye is easily one of the best FPS according to most people, but you really expect that rehashed sequel that looks WORSE than the original to be any good, let alone better?

I know this was before these new supposedly wonderful games came out, but I am not taking another chance on a Wii this gen, or any other console for that matter.

I don't think anyone previously not-interested on the Wii would buy one for those two games. There are tons of quality FPS out there, and if Metroid Prime 3 didn't interest them enough, Other M won't, either.
i had a wii and dont regret selling it, sorry but it was just sitting in the corner, goldeneye wont be anywhere near the n64 version and the crappy wii graphics are just a pain to watch.
i have gotten a wii and ended up selling it 3 times, i really really did try and like the wii, but its just not for me, i have a lot of respect for the wii but ive came to the conclusion that its just not really for me, i may pick up some of the higher rated wii games next gen assuming that nintendo has bc with there next console

so in other words you bought it 3 times.. why dont you just keep it for the case that there is something you like ? i dont know when you sold it. but usually selling consoles does not generate any profits (if you sold it back in 2006 then you probably made a big profit though)
Even after getting an AAAAE the Wii still won't get the respect it deserves. Give it up, TC. They will see the light 20 years from now when they can get it for dirt cheap and see the good games it has. They are missing out, and they are happily missing out, so stop wasting your time with these threads. Btw, Goldeneye will get a 7.5 or lower...if you ask me.
Nope. I bought a Wii at launch and after beating Twilight Princess and buying an xbox 360, the Wii just sat in my closet and collected dust. A few months after that I sold it and I havent regretted it.
SMG2 and NSMBW are the only reasons I want a Wii. However, I bought a Wii for SMG, beat it, it sat there for 5 months and sold it. If they lower the price on the Wii I may buy one.

didnt play the original till last year, im 16 and it looks good so its not nostalgia.

It was shallow but it was also a lot of fun if you ask me.
I thoguht it was fun....for a while. This doesn't happen very often when I play my Wii but my arm actually was getting pretty tired from the waggle involved in that game. I made it to that one Frankenstien boss(it took me forever to get to him) only to die as a result of him healing himself. I was so dismayed by having the start that horrible level all over again I just quit playing and never looked back. :P
Out of curioisty how much was left of that game from where I was at?

Super Mario Galaxy is still selling: Check
So um why exactly would they lower the price?
for a 3 year old game and a company as Greedy as nintendo not dropping a cent for it?yeah,lame. Thats why i prefer MS/S0ny over Nintendo,they atleast drop their prices for games,not that big of a deal,but its nice to know atleast they drop a CENT after 3 years >_>

FPS, RTS, RPG, JPRG, Racing, TPS, Open World, Platformer. And some more I cant remember. There are a bunch of good platformers on the Wii. ...however when it comes down to things it is your opinion and preference and I respect that. However I still dislike Madworld :P

He isn't saying it from a logic sense (hardly anyone on SW talks from that sense), he's saying it from a "I want it because it serves me" sense.
