Why do we need jumps in graphics.  Like you said graphics don't make the games play any differently, you should still be able to enjoy the game, no need for next gen graphics

PC version looks notably better. It also supports a higher resolution and higher fps. 

Not as drastic a change as other games, but certainly noteworthy. Crysis 3 and FC3, I believe, are far better examples.

Yeah, it definitely isn't close. I'll be playing the 360 version when I get it, unfortunately :(

Half size 720p screenshots for a comparison when the major disparity is the fact that it runs in 1080p and above on the PC.

I don't think they did. It's not on the level of something like a Sleeping Dogs port or Hitman Absolution. It's pretty bare bones and TressFX is the only really big difference

Yep. And 360 will soon be 8 years old. This is why the gap between console and PC was less than the PS2 days. Next gen... game over.

I wouldn't say so, because the tech seems slapped together and poorly optimised. Then again that's coming from an Nvidia user talking about AMD tech

atleast compare the ps3 version, you aren't even trying man.

It's the same assets. The console version only lacks some ligthing, shadows and lower res textures.

Honestly the only good thing graphically from this game is TressFX.

As long as console games continue to run at 30FPS and things like screen tearing remaing very apparent, I'll stick with the PC version of multiplatform titles. Console gamers continue to let themselves be ripped off by paying more for less. Inferior games that often can't even hold 30FPS. 

The PC version looks better who would have thought, but why use fxaa instead of ssaa. I think fxaa dont look near as good as ssaa.x2 or x4

These compasion shots are sh!t an always will be. They are too small... take a 1080p screen shot and leave it at its normal size. Then get the console screen shot and stretch it to the 1080p one. Its worse and the fact consoles play on a big HDTV look even more like sh!t.

If i played the consoel version on my 27inch monitor it would look 5x worser than that.

Because things are still being built for last gen hardware. Putting that software on new hardware doesn't make it magically prettier.

I noticed the PC version is using FXAA which heavily blurs the picture obscuring finer details.

You should of compared it with SSAA instead or atleast sweetfx.

I took these on the release day and in fullscreen mode so I think it was missing some effects that would of shown in the screenshots but they still look better than the ones you posted.

Those PC screens look terrible, I played the game not even maxed and it looked way better then that. Smells like trolling.

He does not have it a res that you can tell the diff. Tomb raider on pc is a very nice looking game.

360 looks real sweet

Better off comparing ps3 to 360.

This game is dumb i feel dumb watching the walkthrough videos and seeing her say dumbass **** to herself.

Along with the cutscenes makes me not even want to give it a try.
