Tomb Raider reboot? Bow combat on horseback? Survival horror? Say what? (UPDATE)

It's entirely possible this is fake, especially since the girl above could be anyone. But I'm really digging the idea.

I don't see the bullet point that was previously there about the "improvised weapons" (guns and the bow). Not sure why that was omitted.

There's also no mention of the M rating that's projected for the game.

Yes, dear god. Turn Lara into an interesting character for once. I liked Underworld for what it was, but this genre needs a huge reboot, and I hope this is it.

I read that the next Tomb Raider game is going to be a reboot, like the next Resident Evil game(RE6) will be a reboot of the franchise, anything is possible.

The last few TR games haven't been bad. I just wish Lara Croft would die, or atleast have some personality injected into her. :D

Why do you say that? Since FM has been superior to the last few GT releases, does that mean GT needs to die? How about Resistance? How about Killzone? Both didn't live up to a Half-Life or Halo? They're the same genre, and they've been done better and rated higher. Should LBP die because it didn't do platforming (its main gameplay mechanic) as well as SMG? This is basically what you're saying. Why? Why shouldn't TR live on? I mean, look at the last few titles. They've been rated good enough and they're good titles. Are they as good as Uncharted? No. But should they die? No. Should they improve the franchise and inject it with something new? Yes.

Theres no denying that the franchise needs a reboot, everyone knows that. If they feel that they can make a good game from TR with those ideas then i support them.

meh, im not as interested in tomb raider as i once was. my favourite game in the franchise was Tomb Raider III (awesome), but ever since Angel of Darkness i lost my interest. i still have major respect for it as a franchise though, but i've moved on to Uncharted.

meh, im not as interested in tomb raider as i once was. my favourite game in the franchise was Tomb Raider III (awesome), but ever since Angel of Darkness i lost my interest. i still have major respect for it as a franchise though, but i've moved on to Uncharted.
