ND did say that Uncharted 3 will indeed come but its not it with this annoucment.. uncharted 2 probably now 4million units sold.. its amazing tho for this annoucment i hope its a sly4!

I am not too concern with the title that is being announced, but just hoping that it is from a series that I recognize and love previous.

I still haven't picked up "Blood Curse." The Americans turned me off. I'll eventually pick up "New Translation" ...

Anyways, I'm hoping for a new title. I loved how the 2nd one had new mythology to explore and a new story to unfold, yet remained pretty faithful to the style of the original. So I'd really like for new stories and new mythologies. Siren is a series I'd like to see at least make 4 distinct titles.

Good good, I played the poo out of the PS2 titles and I'm glad to hear that a proper Socom is coming to the PS3. Confrontation was fun but was missing something (sadly review scores are what a lot of people go by) that Zipper is/will accomplish, i hope :P. 32 player multiplayer will be intense.

People nowadays are spoiled by fast paced shooter and can't take the time and effort to use proper tactical teamwork.

Agreed. This is phenomenal! Zipper is making SOCOM again! How are people not excited for this?

I understand the non-shooter crowd being disappointed ..... but the Socom guys wanteda next gen Socom from Zipper(not MAG). I enjoy MAG and I enjoyed the first 2 Socom games so I'm down ifthis one isgood. It's just really odd that it is announced already just off the heels of MAG. I figured it would be a PS4 launch title.

SOCOM 4 is cool. Personally I'm not going wild over a game that requires voice chat to play effectively, but good for those who are.

I must add that this is a far more interesting announcement than I would have expected.

hmm looks somethin' like SOCOM so far :P nonetheless hope its something great ^_^ wouldnt mind another RPG...or i guess Sly could work :P i never played it, but Jak and Daxter would be even cooler :D wait tho so first insomniac is announcing something new and now SCEA???
