Tony Hawk 3 + 4 Remastered official reveal! Out July 11th! Will launch on GamePass.

Activision appears to have an announcement related to the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series penned in for 4th March, as it's been noticed in a new Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 map that a TV screen displays the "03.04.25" date in a skateboard shop. The teaser follows hot on the heels of speculation surrounding a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 remaster, which this TV display is more than likely referring to.

The teasing TV screen appears in a returning Call of Duty multiplayer map named Grind, which originally featured in Black Ops 2. Keeping with the theme, the map is set within a skate park and this tease appears in a shop to the side selling decks, trucks, and wheels.

Furthermore, fans have analysed the small symbol above the date and found the position of the skateboarder to be a combination of Tony Hawk's moves from the box art covers of Pro Skater 3 and Pro Skater 4. It has the legs position from the former and the hand position of the latter.

With rumours of another remaster bundle out of Activision running rampant, it now seems like the project will be made official on 4th March 2025. What really seals the deal is Tony Hawk himself has responded to the Charlie Intel post you see above with the eyes emoji:

This would be sweet news, especially considering that Activision reportedly wasn’t too happy with the Tony Hawk 1 & 2 remaster sales. Thoughts, SW? Would you be happy to get Tony Hawk 3 and 4 remastered?

Hope this is true. Not as exciting as the 1 and 2 remake, that was neat seeing the abstract PS1 graphics redone with modern detail. A graphical update of the gen 6 games won't be as big of a difference. But this is still good news. Fingers crossed it leads to an actual new game.

I've got the OG's I'm fine. Having said that I do have a copy of the first two remakes/remasters that I scored off of a friend because he was done with it. But I haven't even thought of playing it.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy Tony Hawks games but he went downhill after Underground. Skate is where it's at and it's what Tony Hawks games should have been after Pro Skater 3. Didn't even try to reinvent the wheel.

They were absorbed into Blizzard as Blizzard Albany back in 2022. They're just a Call of Duty support studio now.

It gets worse. Beenox (Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled) was also absorbed as a Call of Duty support studio and Toys For Bob (Spyro Reignited Trilogy, Crash Bandicoot 4, Crash Team Rumble) left Activision. All of the studios which did the Crash, Spyro and Tony Hawk remakes are now gone!

But at least Toys for Bob can start work on new games right?

I'm genuinely really excited for this... I have a lot of nostalgia for THPS 3 & 4. And I enjoyed the remakes of 1 & 2 a lot more than I thought I would (I as way more into 3 & 4).

Now you can preorder before you even know the game exists! Exciting times.

I'd rather play the old games than remakes or remasters.

The old games look and play as they were made to. Playing something with old gameplay but new graphics just feels weird.

I suppose this is coming to gamepass?

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 will be released across PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC (via Steam, Battle.net and Microsoft Store), and Nintendo Switch on 11th July. It will also be coming to Game Pass Ultimate and Game Pass PC.

Nice. Tony Hawk 4 is my favorite in the series so I'm interested to see how it turns out in the remake.

Never had much experience with 3 and 4 played a lot of 2 on ps1. Definitely checking this out.

Day 1!!!!! I love the Tony Hawk games. I put so many hours into these games back in the day and I spent many hours on the 1+2 Remake.

3 was just as good as the 1 and 2. 4 if I remember correctly went the GTA route with its open world/mission structure.

How well did the last remaster do?🤔 I am curious to know the size of the demographic.

It was the fastest selling game in franchise history. It sold one million copies in 10 days.

I saw the hints on the CoD Black Ops 6 maps and knew it would be the THPS 3 and 4 remake. While I am more excited for a new Skate game, I will definitely be picking this up!

I'm so happy about this announcement. These may end up being my favorite games of 2025.

Well my hype for the 3+4 remake just went down. Activision confirmed that 4 will not have it's original career mode but instead play more like 3. That's really disappointing because THPS 4 is my favorite in the series and yet they decided to downgrade it in the remake.

@AcidTango: Yeah that sucks man. That's really disappointing. They've basically removed one of the coolest aspects of 4. My hype level has definitely dropped.

My has time passed, the couple of generation have been quite big on remakes
