This just in: the focus is on the RPG aspects by a longshot. This game isn't even trying to be a DMC meets Diablo. It's trying to be a Diablo with a touch of DMC-there's a HUGE difference between the two.

The animation is good for what it is (indeed, Gamespy says they're actually quite good), but things change from cIass to cIass and weapon to weapon, so they do not have the opportunity to focus on it as the DMC devs did.

There's a reason it's in my sig, you know. I used to be even more skeptical of this game than you. Indeed, I was going to purposefully go out and bash it. However, I researched the game and actually liked what I saw, and, thus, I was gradually turned into an eager defender of TH.
